I don't see the problem here? I'm already running 7.1.2 on my 6p and get updates on the reg. Seems at least once a month I get an update that brings a new neat little feature to make me happy.

I run lineageOS man, which is open source so it's hard to put in malware unnoticed. On the contrary since IOS is closed source you have no clue what Apple puts in there and nobody can investigate it either.

Still rocking my Nexus 6 since Dec 2014. Last good all round Nexus. Had a 6p but the build quality was awful. I am glad they bothered to realease updates.

Open source != harder to 'put in' malware. Majority of people don't even monitor that shit and even if there is, that means you're 100% trusting them like you would any company (except the company isn't doing it for free...hmmm).

Nexus phones are always the best Android phones. I've never had the 6p but I always thought it looked pretty sturdy with the metal and all. I have the 5x and I kinda wish I got the 6p
