Assembled in the USA is something very different than "Made in the USA", which in itself doesn't actually mean that much.

welp time to stop using steam. can't believe they support trump.

>dat xenophobia

jesus fucking christ, now VALVE is supporting drumpf? what the fuck is wrong with this world

anyone else here comforted by the fact that whites will be extinct in 30 years after all oding on pills/heroin?

it means the pcbs are milled in china, and the plastic shell is injected in china, but undocumented mexicans snap it all together in LA

is this bait OP?
it says assembled in USA
parts could be "made in" anywhere else
anyway, its better than nothing, since quality control is better in US

youtube.com/watch?v=uCgnWqoP4MM
>undocumented meme
and its Illinois actually

>anyone else here comforted by the fact that whites will be extinct in 30 years after all oding on pills/heroin?
no, because then no one will pay for my welfare :(

>implying these "undocumented" immigrants won't be documented once they get deported

Your attempt at arguing would seem far less retarded if you demonstrated the ability to correctly spell the name of the current president of the Uunited States.

>after all oding on pills/heroin
Pretty sure that's not how it's gonna go down.

They are finished, yes, but not "oding"

His original name was literally Drumf which he changed to Trump to sound cooler. Btw Drumpf literally means fart in Old English

Inshallah brother Sadiq, we will conquer Mexico after the great wall goes up and pillage its oil. The Jayiza will be great.

these white supremacist faggots need to be hanged. My brown skin will put them in their graves very soon.

>quality control is better in US
americunts actually believe this. Burgerland of things.

Better than China where the escalators will literally eat you alive

Get raped and kill yourself, you kike loving fucking faggot sack of ugly nigger shit with down syndrome.

No it wasn't, you shit brained fucktard. Kill yourself.

Excuse me sweetie, it was Drumpf. I made a typo.

>anyway, its better than nothing, since quality control is better in US
US quality is actually an international meme. It is also seen in the US as well, like in Simpsons and Family guy. They make fun of things breaking on their own because those were American made products.

...

>assembled
kek

Does it comes with an rechargeable battery yet or do I still needs to use AA.

I want Sup Forums to leave

you can use your brain and buy rechargeable AAs

or if they weren't cheap motherfuckers they could include rechargeable AAs with the charger built in into the controller,, the chargerging units literally costs cents, you can buy them from china in those cheap chink websites and the steam controller already has usb interface.

>"Assembled in America"
>Chinese Export mark
Volvo please

In a fully automated production line. This is happening all over, work is coming back to home turf, because once you have robots doing it it doesn't really matter where you do it.

youtube.com/watch?v=uCgnWqoP4MM

IS THERE NO DEPTHS OF CHINKERY THE CHINKS WONT CHINK TO

>Assembled in USA

Good reason not to buy it then.

American quality control is worse than the dregs of Cambodia.

...

Nobody understand automated production destroy jobs?

youtube.com/watch?v=uCgnWqoP4MM

>make
>assembled

that's not the same thing

The real money to be made in America is in designing and constructing these automated factories.

And automating farming

Because the steam controller is apparently assembled in an automated factory in Illinois, the fabrication process of a steam controller essentially involves no Chinese slave labor. The only reason to make use of Chinese factories then is the cheapness of materials, and to borrow their PCB fabs and injection molding machines.
By the looks of it, the PCBs are brought to the factory already assembled.
If we're to take the claim ``Assembled in USA'' at face value, this probably means that the factory the PCB was fabricated in is fully automated, and it probably is (would you trust a malnourished chink to solder SMD components without a high failure rate?)

Why does Sup Forums hate Apple, when the Mac Pro and some iMacs are made in the USA, from American steel, milled in American steel mills? You aren't a libcuck, are you?

Spain might have escaped the Islamic world, but their spawn won't.

Reminder that Sup Forums is 90% shitskins.

Why does everyone act like "assembled in the USA" is a bad thing? The raw materials for these things come from Asia, Africa, etc etc. Blame geography for the US not having all the required natural resources to make modern electronics.

Automation is inevitable. There is no reason to hold back on the account of sentimentality.
It is a bitter pill that we will have to swallow eventually, but forcibly holding it back is going to result in a net negative for society. This boomer-age thought that you can simply ``get a job'' and support yourself and/or a family needs to end.

>steam controller
>feels good

Well, we can be certain OP hasn't used it yet.

And you'd think that all the alt-right retards here would love encouraging automation because that absolutely demolishes the need for immigration.

Fucking truth.

How could one company fuck it up this badly?

What a horrible post.
The US is the most geographically diverse nation on the planet. The only countries that can hope to compete in that regard are Russia and China.

The reason you don't have manufacturing in the US is because of regulations. You need to produce a product while adhering to eco-friendliness standards. This is why there are ZERO lead processing factories in the US.
Manufacturing in China, where they have zero regulations and thus a semi-permanent brown cloud and thick smog looming over their cities, is incredibly cheap in comparison.

To say that we don't manufacture in the US because of ``resources'' is asinine. It's a simple matter of economics that it is cheaper to produce the raw components of a product in China.

Its actually really ergonomic. It only hurts your thumb after prolonged use and the face buttons are a little bit of a stretch.

>"lets over-regulate our industry for environmental reasons"
>all companies move to china where there are no environmental regulations which results in more damage to the environment than if companies just stayed in the US with a more relaxed regulatory burden
its like these policy makers have no concept of profit margins or cause and effect

>YFW OUTSOURCING OUR POLLUTION

BREATHE IT IN YOU DAMN CHINGCHONGS

>Abloo abloo corporations aren't allowed to dump toxic waste into our drinking water
Do you really want to be like China? And being geographically diverse doesn't mean we automatically have rare earth minerals. You can't blame regulations for the US not having any tantalum.

>You need to produce a product while adhering to eco-friendliness standards
That and the federal government won't keep their fucking nose out of interstate commerce. The only real way to do manufacturing business in the US is to do all the raw material extract, construction, and assembly in a single state, which is usually impossible

Only for global warming though

please let me know where you live so I can dump my used motor oil on your lawn instead of paying those bullshit eco fees

There are regulations in China. They're just not up to the standards of the first world. China is investing heavily in things like hydro and solar.
>communist shitholes that don't care about their citizens exist, so we should adopt their lack of care for the environment

production and deposits are two different things
According to this website
web.mit.edu/12.000/www/m2016/finalwebsite/solutions/deposits.html
Australia and Brazil have the largest deposits.

If it doesn't have the "Made in China" seal of quality it doesn't deserve a purchase. This is why I pirate all of the controllers I own.

That still shows the US has none.

Get out of here hippie. All you managed to do was move the toxic waste onto the other side of the planet. So much caring for your planet. As long as you don't see it, right?

It shows that Russia still processes a large amount despite not having any.

>There are regulations in China
The thing is, no one follows them because of bribes and general apathy. They are only in place for a little positive PR.

Well good, it's better some Slav nigger died from exposure to toxic waste than me.

Its in China's best economic interest to not enforce them in anywhere that isn't a tourist destination (AKA Hong Kong which is semi-autonomous anyway). Which is exactly what they do. The Chinese are only investing in renewables because they can build them for so cheap and renewables are a relatively consistent source of passive energy (unlike dwindling fossil fuel deposits) and energy independence (that is also guaranteed to be used nationally 95% of the time--something China really likes).

It's made of aluminium you dumb yank, not steel

kek

Assembled in the US?

That means Valve supports Trump.

People who support trump, I was told, are nazis.

Nazis killed a lot of people. So it's ok to beat them up.

That means Valve employees must be beaten up. It all makes sense now

>assembled

means nothing homie

...

No wonder it's so awful

It may seem comfy now, but the world becomes more hellish as white populations dwindle.

>regulations in China
You're fucking delusional m8.

>Assembled in USA

Imported parts put together in the USA

>>tfw valve actually makes their products in america
Top engineering

how did this turn into race baiting? you fucks are pathetic. ww3 when?

If you don't think ww3 is already happening you have your head buried in sand

>assembled
where did the parts come from?

>assembled
>aka, they got an indian living in america to put the chinese parts into a box
there, "assembled" "in america"

well it needs to hit full force already

lol this

> Sup Forums
> cannot tell what Assembled means

This is like the iPhone.
> Designed in California

>assembled

nspa.com/documents/AssembledvsMadeinUSA.pdf

That shit has all its components made in China by companies such as Foxconn, shipped to the US and assembled by underpaid illegal immigrants.

You'd assume it would be better but damn.
Didn't know it was that bad

Its like you have no idea baout what you are talking

>Assembled in USA

lol, ALL the components are made in China and shipped to US, even the packaging. I know this because they did the same shit where I live (not american).

But that is exactly what happens

I actually bought one of these pieces of shit.
