Help poor children in Uganda!

>Help poor children in Uganda!
All I wanted was a text editor.

vi vi vi is the editor of the beast

KONY 2012
KONY 20000122222

What do you expect? The open source community is full of Africans.

you can disable it

Actually, OP thanks for making this thread.

I just installed Vim lastnight. How the fuck is this any better than sublime text?

Lightweight, available on every system.

You have a text editor.

Now why not help poor children in Uganda? Send them porn or something.

Vim has a lot more features for dealing with structured text.

If you're only doing barely structured text like your simple everyday shopping and to do lists on a text editor, that may matter less to you, but it's useful for sysadmin work and programming and so on.

Gentoo doesn't have this problem.

>become a registered vim user
I get this too. It seems to change on each startup, or is at least random. but how is this and begging for charity any different than Sublime Shit asking you to purchase it?

> Not using neovim

Is this real?

I mean...good for them, but fucking kek

Hmm, maybe because it doesn't get in your way and interrupt you during saving?
Maybe because it's beneficial to society rather than the pockets of the Sublime devs?

It sucks how the most moral thing to do would be to mass genocide all Africans and turn Africa into the production centre of the world but you can't say this because shallow-thinking people get offended.

i bet they cant even read that sign. it was given to them by a marxist to hold up as a photo op.

You don't need to genocide the Africans for that, just put whites in charge again.

>seeing that screen, ever

You're supposed to open files directly with vim. Idiot.

Uhh.. yes it does. The Uganda spam only comes up every now and then

I hope this post is ironic.

Poor nerds still think if they where IT guy in Africa they would get chicks

Well, you could just edit the Vim source in Vim to remove the message.

wtf I hate vim now

>post alternative facts
we both know niggers can't read

Wrong. You keep vim open and open new screens or buffers.

No. No no no. Learn from history.

This time you wipe them all out. No more slaves or second-class-citizens

But all you got was ugandese extortionware.

There's something I don't understand...
Why Uganda, specifically?
>captcha: stop arabian

>genocide all Americans
FTFY

This pic is on the vim.org homepage

kate doesnt have this problem

No idea how Sup Forums can shill the fuck out of this turd.
Fuck Uganda.

>(((Factbook)))

It's not a source. It's simply what they called their collection of data. It's from indexmundi.

Hope you're somewhere where your illiteracy doesn't hurt you too bad.

This post can't be real.

FUCKING DELETE THIS

WHITE GENOCIDE IS REAL

It's not like it's a bad cause and it's only one line of text. If it was "help this women koding organization" or something stupid along those lines, I'd understand your irritation.

Help Uganda goyim

>african americans cant read even though everyone is constantly trying to uplift them and spending billions to do so for decades
>im supposed to believe ugandans can read because they take epic linux photo ops

Uganda does have a good education system, tons of people there are walking around with legit Masters degrees the problem is there's absolutely no jobs whatsoever due to typical corrupt tinpot African dictatorship. Donating money there does fuck nothing it disappears down a hole

>VIM
>Not bloat.

Pick one.

Why are these thread funnier than ylyl ones?

I got banned for 2 weeks for implying that Bram Moolenaar is a pedophile and molests these little black children he obsesses over so much. Just a word of warning.

Don't worry, the Chinks are already doing that.

You can choose only the features you need when compiling. Almost everything is optional.

Let me guess, you saw that WebM from empire of dust and think the "based chink" are "recolonizing" Africa
