At least post the link dumbass. Then people can annoy the GTK devs some more and we can get actual enjoyment out of it.
You'd think that instead of going all autist about pulling in features from the file manager into the file picker, they would just define some kind of interface and make it modular such that anyone can design a file picker and configure GTK to use it. That way they can keep their file picker shitty the way they like it and everyone who wants thumbnails can have them. Everyone wins.
add that comment to the bug report rather than here
Works for me.
FROGS ARE RACIST
DELET
meh. I use KDE and don't have this problem so I also have no incentive to help GTK
When will linux mint get this? It's literally the only thing preventing me from switching to linux
use KDE

Does GTK stand for "gas the kikes"?
I use KDE and I actively want GTK to die.
This is part of the reason I moved from Fedora GNOME to openSUSE KDE.
jesus fuck this date format is horrid
>This bug is still unfixed. The GtkFileChooser widget does create preview icons for image files, but they're illegibly tiny.
So it works?
GIMP Tool Kit
boring.
>You will never have a consistent user experience on GNU/Linux if you want a still usable system

It's cancer
The devs keep track of issues largely by the number of people subscribed to receive email updates on the bug reports. The more of you who get in there the more likely this is to eventually be fixed.
Works by default ONLY in masterrace openSUSE
Can they make the buttons not look bad by default next?
>installing a theme is so difficult
>ONLY in masterrace openSUSE
Are you sure about that? I think it might also be default in Chakra as well.
will that make openSUSE the next meme?
There are no extant themes for Gnome that make it look acceptable.
I don't know anything about it other than it having working filepicker thumbnails, so it's already winning out over a bunch of distributions.
...
Not sure, opensuse does custom compatibility patches for things like firefox though. Great support from a distro cause it's got a corporate backer.
>There are no extant themes for Gnome that make it look acceptable.
That's the KDE file picker so Gnome themes are irrelevant
You can tell it's KDE because the widget borders aren't arbitrarily half an inch wide.
This guy was hella butthurt lmao
I assumed it was Gnome because of the images on the buttons, argument stands for KDE too.
Qt is the only one that looks decent.
