Wouldn't that be mad

I live in a rural area and have seen what seem like UFOs before

Lights travelling too close to be heard if they were jets and too fast to be terrestrial vehicles

Also too large in the sky to be anything else

I s'pose. But my Irish is actually improving thx to you and I even have a learning difficult.

Would much prefer to learn Japanese but should really be learning coding/software development languages.

Why are you up so late btw?

Studying?
I am the embarrassment of the family as every Irish family has.

Anyone else /justwokeup/ here?

I'm finished all my exams and I'm just not sleeping for no particular reason.
I'm still trying to figure out who this is. Lav? Lar?
Also, there's no point to learning a language unless you'll have a need for it.

Was gonna be a garda

>Lar?
Not the guy you're replying to but that's me.

It's been a while lar. How'd the exams play out in the end?

They got better towards the end but I have no confidence in the overall grade.

What's the minimum GPA you need?

I asked this in a previous thread, but received few opinions, so I will ask again here:

Do you think the Irish language has a bright future in Ireland?

To get through to next year I need to pass everything except one exam. And I'm fairly certain I've failed more than that.

I'm very pro-Irish but no, most people simply don't care enough and the pace and means at which is it 'reviving' is meaningless (fewer and fewer native speakers of proper Irish, more L2 speakers of meme-Irish, decline of native Gaeltacht communities means it won't have a natural language community anymore)

I suppose all we can do is fight our hardest to keep it alive. Truly a noble struggle.

It's pretty disconcerting how few people here give a shit about maintaining our native culture. Lot of positive opinions about what we should do, but very little will to actually do anything.

Already bright out lads. Looks like a beautiful day.
If only I had someone to enjoy it with.

going to stay in all day and play videogames with my bf
