How many lines of code could you write

how many lines of code could you write

A few

Depends

~37 and my head starts hurting

All of them

The number needed

I don't write code
I copy it

cd code..
cd..
cd..
cd code..
..
cd code..

about this many

What was the absolute Kunt Koder trying to do here? Have we ever figured out?

Xer was trying to get to a directory called "code", to either compile something or run it in the terminal and look like a leet hacker.

like half

honestly? 0. i'm trying to learn some python right now but i don't think i'm autistic enough to keep focused on it. maybe it's just that codecademy sucks balls, i don't know. or i suck. probably both.

That's a big cat.

Codecademy Python sucks balls.

Try literally any other tutorial. Preferably one that also teaches you popular libraries.

what the fuck happened to that cat?

Hundreds and hundreds of lines and then I format it all.

So, about 50.

The fuck is wrong with that dog?

3.50

You should totally join our startup.

Do comments count?
If so....
/*Hello world*/

real talk I made a game with about ~30,000 lines. Never released it or anything was just a hobby project of mine I made about 8 years ago.

Hah, i was going to ask the same question. I could probably whip up one of the more needlessly verbose Hello World programs ever made!
In Basic.
For Mew

400 lines a day was my max before i raged out of exaustion

This is why we need OOP lads

The cougar equivalent to a fat domestic cat.

Honestly? Hundreds

Obviously depends on things like how complex the problem is. If its a complex problem, I will spend more time thinking than typing, thus less lines of code.

If its something I have knowledge of, the proccess is almost automated. So many more lines of code.

That's a big cat

I can edit simple things in existing code, but that's about it.

I can't write any code from scratch.

hmm I've done about 50,000 in the last four months

Lines of code is such a useless metric to measure. Line returns and formatting mean there is a lot of padding for the sake of visually being readable. It means nothing otherwise.

Back in the day when you were trying to fit your game on a 64KB ROM you'd have to optimize like hell. Every bit counted. These days? Nobody gives a fuck.

The number of lines you write is going to depend on what you need done, how much optimizing you've done, etc. I don't hear about anyone speaking in "lines of code" these days.

Over 9000

I could write hello world infinite amounts of times.

I don't know but it's a crappy metric especially if you call lots of libraries that do all the heavy lifting and logic for you.

really diggin the thread op, it great

public boolean linesOfCode()
{
System.out.println("fucking");
System.out.println("newFag");
System.out.println(cuckold.jpg + "");
System.out.println("I");
System.out.println("could");
System.out.println("write");
System.out.println("millions");
String OP = new String;
if (OP == fag){
return true;
}
else{
return false
}
}

I dicked up the data type for OP, I would have to use OP.equalsIgnoreCase or some shit.

my bad, I'll fuck off now.

About 300 per day is optimal.

So about 20000 lines this year.

Comments / documentation not included.

i can wright a code that can write itself

error user.cs (11): 'fag' unidentified declarifier

I remove code on a daily basis.

My net output of SLOC has actually been negative for years.

So far ~6000

Several hundred per day usually, unless I'm working on some web shit then a lot more because HTML and tables and stupid shit.

>declarifier

couldn't get my shit to compile, thanks

I can declare as many integers as u want bby

>Xer
Haha epic Sup Forums joke! Women are such SJWs they have weird genders!
