Does Sup Forums prefer comfy or convenient?
Does Sup Forums prefer comfy or convenient?
why are they mutually exclusive?
or do you mean in some contrived scenario where it has to be one or the other?
Wow, Apple is amazing.
>minimalism
is shit and the opposite of comfy
I go through phases. Sometimes I like having lots of stuff out making for a comfy environment, sometimes I feel like less is more though.
This.
>They even took down the photo of the dog on the wall
No need for dogs, only work now.
And cool shades, apparently
>Not using f.lux
...
Is this pic related? Because the top has both and the bottom none.
Name one thing you can do in your Apple that I can't do on my windows PC
PS: Ya can't
Get laid
cringe
You get laid with your apple? that's nasty
if you like sucking dicks and getting it in your ass
why did they take down the photo of the puppy on the wall?
;_;
Clutter disrupts my concentration, but having a big desk and taking 10% of it with all of my tools seems like a waste as well.
Did they stop driving? The car keys are gone. Also, people still print things.
Why anybody qwill take a picture of a doggo from a wall?? I have a pic of mine and a paint of my hamster on the wall.
They make me smile when I am stressed
That's a fax machine.
You still need a physical note book, tape, glue, scissors, printer, tellbot sticky notes.
> need
t. luddite
Fun fact: its been proven that physical manipulation and storage in physical space aids in memory and retention.
Also "screen real estate" and multi-monitor is also a meme and doesn't improve productivity at all.
>tape, glue, scissors
no
>Also "screen real estate" and multi-monitor is also a meme and doesn't improve productivity at all.
bullshit
...
>aids in memory and retention
Why would I want to clutter my mind with stupid bullshit though?
More stuff looks better but keep the new computer.
It's true. The real improvement comes from having different sources of input that work in different ways, but can work by themselves. For example, if you're entering data from a book or paper, from another screen, and from another part of the same screen, the paper beats the others. Both on one screen was by far the worst.
What this proves is that compartmentalisation is the true way to be productive.
I still don't get why they took off the car keys
Because the macbook pro will give you a ride to work, DUH
A good ide setup with one screen being the editor and the other for everything else is much better than smashing it into a single screen
>and the other for everything else
>"Having one screen for work and the other for Sup Forums helps me work."
Congratulations, you've been memed.
>not using linux in 2k17
My workspace is messy as fuck, or as i like to call it, "well integrated". I work on computers and paper simultaneously, so i really like having everything i might need within my reach.
I don't really get why anyone would chose form over function when it ultimately inhibits productivity.
Phone has the Uber app on it
>I don't really get why anyone would chose form over function when it ultimately inhibits productivity.
Because they don't need to be productive but looke really good.
>not riding a bike
>needing a carburator
pff
Now it can be used as a desktop wallpaper.
Why can't I have minimalism and comfiness? I've got a pretty clean desk but I feel comfy in my own home no matter what my desk looks like.
...
I prefer to lean more toward minimalism. It makes upkeep easier. Less shit to maintain and it's easier to keep clean. You pay the price for comfy clutter down the road, unless you want to live like a slob.
>phone on the right side
confirmed retard
I'm saving up for a new desk to be a bit more minimalistic, although I'll still definitely have stuff other than my computer. This hand me down corner desk is terrible, I can barely fit a standard keyboard and mouse.
>what's the work from home meme
This so much
