Can you recommend me some good 8x8 or 16x16 bitmap fonts, please?

gohufont is my favorite

Bembo

Helvetica or Arial (pictured) or similar sans serif front for headings (bold)

Garamond (pictured) or similar for text

This is my go-to style for 90% of what I do. Plus it's available on Word without having to download fancy licensed fonts.

Times New Roman is an underrated font. People love to shit on it, but it's decent.

I like open sans

Nope.

tewi

This

It's not 1990. I can see serifs fine on my hidef screen.

Comic Sans.

Arial.
Georgia.
Consolas.

That's all you need.

>sht is mad comfy

How do the illiterate find their way to Sup Forums?

Monofur with Solarized Light is the comfiest coding experience.

Verdana

Noto Sans or Roboto

Can't really decide, I like both

...

With the app

One of my favourites but only in print.

The fuck is this shit? Where's the fox jumping over a dog?

capital Q looks dumb in Univers.

There isn't one. It's nice to use different fonts for different things though. That art has long disappeared, now everything uses the same font, and every single screen of every single software looks like a giant word salad.

I myself quite like old printing fonts for my documents: Auriol & Robutr, Böcklin, Didot, Bodoni, Walbaum, Grandjean, Plantin (inspired Times New Roman), Grasset, Cochin...
Big fan of Art Nouveau fonts too, like Peignot, Vendôme, or Mistral. Bifur too, though it's pretty post-modern. Fit well on a UI, work great for advertizing.

As for contemporary muh clean and sleek fonts, my favorite are the Univers/Avenir/Frutiger family, Futura, Nokia Pure (highly underrated), Achemine, and Parisine.

And Fixedsys Excelsior for my terminals.

Wtf

I just bought this for $2 and it's nothing but .tif and .jpg files

Wtf??

>using Word

samefag. and here's your precious (You) faggot.

Using a knockoff font and even praising it

This. Especially for monospace. People talk about Inconsolata but the spacing and scaling always look wrong to me.

>I don't know how to use Word

IBM CP437, of course.

Don't care as long as it's easy to read quickly.

>noto sans

Garamond/Futura

>printing isn't technology

Lucida Console

for ui or print?

for UI it's easy - Segoe UI or San Francisco

...

Poppins is pretty nice

Consolas

Not even memeing.

Courier

Calibri.

you got jewed.

U mean typeface

fuck off, Jordan

Comic Sans MS xD!!
Oh did I mention that I was a professional graphic designer

Personally I prefer serif fonts for printed material and sans serif for display.

My favorite serif font is Palatino and my favorite sans serif is Myriad Pro.

For titles I prefer to follow the nigger cattle and use Bebas Neue.

It depends entirely on the implementation.

Personally I think Akzidenz Grotesk is a big favourite but it's not always the best typeface for everything (or the cheapest).

How were they supposed to include the flowers in a full font file? It's your own fault for assuming such things could be in a typeface to begin with.
