The 2012 Mac Pro had like 5 PCIe slots with PCIe 2.0 and up to 12 cores with Dual Xeons.
Apple has said they are building a new Mac Pro that is expandable, which likely means it will have PCIe slots so it will have nVidia Pascal and AMD Polaris options soon.
What games are you gonna play on it since most don't support mac anyway.
