This. Pico Torrent is light as fuck and have literally all the features a torrent client need.
>can download
>can seed
>can pause
What do you need more?
deluge
>use but not on windows
Why?
this
fuck gnu
Transmission, KTorrent, or rtorrent.
Basically anything that doesn't use libtorrent and is FOSS.
Transmission, because I'm a torrenting pleb and it just werks.
I can also recommend it to other technological plebs and they can use it and it just werks without bothering me further about it.
If you do anything more advanced than just download and seed then there's probably better solutions.
Vuze Extreme Mod by SB-Innovation
>been around and developed for like 10 years now, from digitalDJ's hacked shu mod, to now where a few people upgrade it
>for features it's cool

Transmission because I don't waste time torrenting on my main computer. I put it on a linux server somewhere else that's running 24/7 and remotely manage it.
Qbittorrent, this is the best one for me since it has all the features i need:
You can tag your torrents in categories, setup a proxy and comes with a webui and it's FOSS, which i trust x100 more than utorrent mining bitcoins on my machine.
Qbittorrent, because is open-source and highly configurable; and Transmission because is open-source and simple to use
Deluge is nice. I used to use utorrent, but then it started to fuck up on me.
I find QBT to be the best on Win.
The only client i use.
Transmission on Mac, rtorrent on linux, Tixati on windows.
deluge
Qbittorrent, best for me since I don't have 56kb/s connection and don't want botnet
I am a Canadian. I do not use a VPN. Just go with Rogers. They literally do not give a fuck about anything. I have seeded over 4tB of data in total. If they cared, they'd notify me somehow.
If you need a VPN for a seed box:
Just coogle it u fuckin dorkenobble
KTorrent. There is no better.
i-i like tixati
Deluge, because it just werks
qbit
Torrent Tornado on FF
Vuze sucks fucking dick.
Enjoy your memory leaks.
> *spoofs ratio*
seedbox: rutorrent
pc: deluge
anything else is shit
qBittorrent
It's not buttugly and unintuitive.
been using tixati for years now.
transmission, the one and only
PicoTorrent
Transmission, FREE AS IN FREEDOM
To the trash it goes
Only one answer, torrentlets, and it's tixati
none of the above
qbtorrent because transmission crashed when i used it and the others were snake oil.
/thread
linux: rtorrent
if stuck on windows: uTorrent 2.2.1 'the last of the just'
Reasoning? These are t h e o n l y two clients that can handle seeding huge amounts of torrents (ie. 2000+). Everything else craps out and stalls.
transimission
this
rtorrent + rutorrent for seedboxes and for desktops deluge is godtier
Transmission on Raspberry Pi (automatic installer included in OSMC. It just werks)
Deluge on Windows Desktop for small things.
>why
Deluge feels more lightweight on Windows compared to µtorrent, which I used before.
Would use Deluge on Raspberry Pi too if the Transmission installer wasn't that damn comfy.
Deluge because automatic folder sorting with Shana project.
My negros.
anything that supports proxies, ipfilter.dat, and is written in something lightweight like c++.
for windows desktop: µTorrent 2.2.1, stable, not filled with shit and allowed on almost all private trackers.
for linux (seedbox): rtorrent combined with rutorrent web interface and preferably autodl-irssi
that build is trash mate
official version is stripped as fuck. it's also crazy sluggish. even the linux version is simplified.
there's an unofficial one that seems okay, but it's just optimized for mac, while linux/windows versions are after thoughts.
What do you mean? Is there something like mratio/moaratio/ratiomaster built-in?
uTorrent 2.2.1 because it can't get any better.
>python
>memory leaks
Abysmal meme.
uTorrent
Tixati.
Autism.
Been running deluge for years, server has 9 month uptime, still working fine.
qbittorrent.
tripz can't be wrong
Deluge
Best is obviously subjective, but I think if I had no name one to be the ultimate king, I'd say rTorrent with a web frontend like ruTorrent for ease of use.
That said, I just use Transmission.
You must not know what transmission is...
aria2
>not using Shareaza to get bittorrent emule and gnutella in one place
Why do you cuck yourself user?
..., botnet, ...
Literally what
deluge seems fine. came with debian
>Phenomenal Multi-Network Support
Shareaza can connect to up to 4 separate Peer-to-Peer networks, providing access to hundreds of thousands of diverse users, all from one single program. You can download/upload from these networks: EDonkey2000, Gnutella, BitTorrent and Gnutella2 (G2).
shareaza.sourceforge.net
Except Deluge doesn't just work, whenever I let it idle for a day or so, and then add a new torrent, it doesn't actually start downloading.
It connects to the peers, but then just sits there at 0 KiB/s.
rtorrtent and libtorrent
this, mostly because is very stable and because of the search engine, very useful, you can get results from many torrent sites with just one search.
The only time I see emule mentioned these days is when the police bust somebody for cp.
Does it have any other use?
webtorrent-desktop or BTFO
Deluge
Transmission
>simple
>just werks, easy to set up
>free as in freedom
I'm no hardcore torrenter tho, I'm happy with anything as long as it works, has some sort of a comfy group/sorting mechanism and can automatically add torrents from a certain folder.
Utorrent 2.2.1
Like for the past 6 years it just werks
