ITT: God-tier phones

Nokia c3 was the shit

If only it had a non-shit CPU

...

God tier for game boy emulation.

motorola mpx220. i want to buy it on ebay because i am tired of internet and my iphone. windows mobile 2003 is the most aesthetic os

...

this phone was based af

god I'd love to get one of those or the kin 2

Horseshit, the digitizer was the worst thing ever.
The speakers were nice though

The last smartphone that you could use with physical keys only. The web browser even had a mouse.

Nexus 4, still my phone.

Here's your (you)

Seconded. Typing this on mine right now.

N900
N950
N9

Palm Pre/HP Veer

Sony Ericsson T610

it's still supported, updates and all?

It was a good dumbphone

I still use it to play gba, sega genesis and nes games and listen to music

Ericsson GH 337 released back in 1995.

This phone had great reception and the build quality of a tank. Mine survived quite a few drops and beatings. Used this for years and years.

It was just a simple 2G phone, no features beyond making phonecalls and SMS.

I don't think there is anything current that's this solid and durable.

Android run time is still stuck at 4.3 but its getting security updates every couple of months. I still use a BB Leap as my daily driver. Fucking shame that BB10 didn't take off, it's a pretty smooth OS.

C902 was my favorite

I had this one with the same colour. I remember it fondly because it couldnt play .mp4 videos. So whenever I wanted to masturbate to porn videos I would first convert .mp4 files to .3gp files. Even though this resulted in a massive drop in quality, as a 14 year old kid I did not care because my cock was hard.

Came to post this

You can't beat this little guy

Where do you draw the line between a "dumbphone" and a "smartphone"? A lot of old phones that are nowadays considered to be "dumbphones" were more than capable of browsing the internet, running applications (written in flash or java for the most part), doing some degree of multitasking and multimedia.

Strictly speaking it's probably the smartphone if you can browse the Internet.

In my simpler take on things.. if the entire front is a display with small bezels on them then it's the (modern) smartphone. If half the front is covered by button's and a small display then it's looks old and stupid and therefore it's not the smartphone.

Nokia E71 was the King of keyboard phones. Stainless back, compact, week long battery life. It was thinner than blackberry and had way more software.

Blackberry wannabes were literally jealous of my Nokia.

Motorola, Sony, LG all them survived, why Nokia had to die?

This thing was so great.

Having an app store and WiFi.

A lof of these had an app store, or more than one.

I don't remember if they had wi-fi tho.

Note 3

This phone was the shit, had it had expandable memory and a headphone jack it would have been perfect at the time

The last good one, the Note 4.

Plebs.

which one Sup Forums?

The Treo, hands down

MS trojan horse

that phone is siqq. would buy.

Blackberry Classic

I still have mine sitting in the box. The USB port snapped off and I haven't gotten around to soldering a new one on yet.

Still have mine, works great, Maemo, Android and Debian multi boot, the first thing I did was enforce the USB port with a little more solder as this was a known failure back then.

I miss my N95 8GB. It took great pictures, it could run quake 3 and the sound quality was great.
The only things I didn't like was that the transfer speed on the USB cable was slow as fuck. And sometimes, for some reason, when the phone lost WiFi connectivity it locked up so I had to restart it. Maybe it was the firmware? IDK.

Still, love the shit out of that phone.

>not the superior slider version

I have a special connection with note 3 tho cause it was my first proper art phone. If I hadn't left it at the pub last year I'd still be using it. Lg g5 if fuckin poverty in comparison desu

This. E72 was also fucking A.

...

Are there still keyboard phones being made? except for the overpriced blackberry ones

What does it sound like?

Do audiophiles think it's haram?

>not the x3-00 with top and bottom speakers

I had the E63, GOAT typing experience.

Serious question
How do you emulate Game Boy on the C6?
Been wondering for some years lately

It's fat and look like shit. Also, those slide phones don't last much

Motorola Dynatac. Comes with 8 hidden CPUs to run many a botnet

I mean I have a Nokia slide phone that is still as good as new, after 3 years of usage and 3 more staying closed...

I guess you're one of the guys that break their iPhone on the first week they buy it...

Nokia E73 Mode was bomb

Nope. I always handle my phones with care, but every slide I had ended with flat problems.

i still have mine X3, just bended the screen left and right, still holding up, tough phone

also don't complain about the res, had to scale it down from 48MB

>also don't complain about the res, had to scale it down from 48MB

What the fuck

I still own this. It's unusable though because my sim card got flooded with SMS from Vodafone or something. I actually wonder if it would work if I put another sim

Why do you take 48mb picture

putting them together resulted in that filesize, I simply can't help it. My cameras res is too high

Had one, it was a slow piece of the shit, and the keyboard paint fell off after a year.

Your only choices for new keyboard phones are BlackBerries and dumbphones. There's some Motorola phone coming out that has a keyboard addon on Kickstarter if landscape keyboards are your thing
