What if I don't have it?

>being a taskbarlet

all the way to the right, I read left to right, so if I have a window maximized, I'd like my eyes to naturally land on the page I'm reading rather than the taskbar

Sounds like baronet. I like it.

Kill yourself, you dumb fucking shit stain.

On the bottom at home since this is where it looks most "natural" to me.

On the left at work since I open 20+ windows and I need to be able to read at least the start of their names

>There's a difference between left and right placement

Why?

close button and scroll bars are on the right side. You use those a lot and should get to them easily. Putting a taskbar on the right makes it harder.

so then this? Pic related

There are de's with buttons on the left side.

that's on the center, not the left.

rammichael.com/7-taskbar-tweaker

that software allows you to make the taskbar slimmer, very useful when using it vertically.

how about

Wooooow... Sad!
I ran your shit and none of the options do anything

Nice one haha ha

Exactly.

also the most important _lifehack_ for this setup: you can close windows by double clicking on their top left corner

It is well-known since Windows 3.1.

Why does having the taskbar at top make you a Macfag? The Dock, which Windows ripped off for its taskbar, is located on the bottom.

>1366x768

>The Dock, which Windows ripped off for its taskbar

Windows has had a dock since 1.0 in 1985.

Wrong. It's had a dock since 2009.

What if I have two screens? A main one and one on the right. Currently experimenting and put my taskbar on the right border of my right screen.

>not putting it at the top so that it's near the window controls and then autohiding it
What are you doing?

Thank you, that's actually smart!

>have autohiden taskbar
>show something to a coworker
>try to select at edge of screen
>taskbar appears
>accidentally open unforgivable porn window
>lose job
>can't pay rent
>get addicted to crack
>end up blowing homeless people for drugs

autohide - not even once

Dock belongs to the left side

>watching porn on a work computer
>keeping the tabs open
>streaming your porn like a peasant
You've found so many ways to be retarded that I'm not entirely sure how to respond. What I can tell you is that I'm extremely disappointed in your lack of common sense and near-infinite density.

>not leaving multiple porn tabs open in the background on your unlocked work computer while you go for a coffee break
Learn to live a little, user.

Taskbar on the left side with Adobe PS,Ai is a pain in the ass.

what a fag.

howto fully remove taskbar win10? Can only hide it, still pops up if i move my cursor to the bottom of screen.

Fuck you, OP. I happen to have my taskbar on the left, but I never asked to be part of, or support some stupid superiority movement.

Neat.

if you can't fix that you're not Sup Forums material

>placing a taskbar on the side so you murder horizontal work area on your portrait monitor
Gotta be retarded to do that, honestly.

>I play it with my daughter

>not hiding your taskbar to have ultimate screen real estate

...

>mfw a reddit frog poster is afflicted with too many extra chromosomes to comprehend traditional hyperbolic humor

I guess you could put the taskbar on the left if you were a big enough faggot to buy a 16:9 monitor.
But it actually should be on the bottom, where it fucking belongs.

So only Unity users are true patricians, right?

I always knew Ubuntu was the best distro.

>want to switch applications
>have to either deal with Windows' atrocious alt-tab ordering (which fucking breaks and puts shit out of order for no reason) or move ALL the way to the other side of the planet like a fucking retard
No issues with this.

>caring

but why though

>spybot anti-beacon

>hebrew
>intel

yep

B-but I have to have the taskbar on top, I use my 2-in-1 for drawing and having it on bottom means that if the palm rejection fails, and it does from time to time, it starts minimizing shit and if it's on the sides, it takes up canvas real estate that's already taken up by layer and tool bars

>Telegram web

>God tier
Left

>High tier
Right

>Repugnant human garbage tier
Anywhere else.

Normie taskbar master race.

I have strong left eye vision so put the taskbar on the right which I don't notice unless i look at it.

>if the palm rejection fails
lel what kind of garbage 1 bit 2 in 1 did you get? My Surface Pro 2 doesn't have any issue with palm rejection since the built in Wacom digitizer disables the touchscreen when the pen gets close to it.

X220 tablet
It was cheap as fuck
It does the same with disabling the touchscreen when the pen is within proximity, but I sometimes pick my pen up high enough that it'll stop tracking it and enable the touchscreen again.

>using the mango with disappointed face.

>sometimes pick my pen up high enough that it'll stop tracking
Well don't do that then.

I just press Meta and type the first two or three letters of whatever I want to open

>he clicks on buttons to close programs

right side taskbar is for people who speak a language with right-left direction of writing, like arabic or hebrew

>what are workspaces?

>browsing a vista tribute thread

this faggotry is limitless

that wallpaper

>he isn't using 4:3 screen resolution
Fucking pleb

OH GOD MY EYES ARE BURNING

I moved my taskbar to the side of the screen on accident one day and just kept it there.

B-but I have my taskbar in 2 different positions!

>having a taskbar

>Do this in chrome
>Window closes
I don't know what I was expecting

why don't you just single click the fucking X you retard

you can correct that by covering your left eye when reading and shit you know

>with my daughter
how does her pussy feel?

dont anser user it's a fbi trap

lmao, what are you even thinking

> implying having the auto-hidden taskbar on either side of a screen is a good idea

Moving the mouse to either side of the middle monitor moves the mouse pointer to the left or the right monitor (who doesn't use a 3 monitor setup these days?).

The bottom of the screen is the obvious choice. At the top if sometimes pop's up and becomes visible when you want to click one of the buttons on the window titlebar so having it there is just stupid. Having the taskbar appear when you move the mouse to the bottom of a monitor is clearly the obvious choice.

bottom is def most natural

Normies don't always know alt tab. A taskbar makes it easier to switch between Chrome and Steam.

> Not having the task bar in the middle of the screen.

t. wintoddler

Point out the Dock in this pic. Only thing at the bottom is the control strip, which is more like the system tray. The application switcher was in the top right corner.

>vertical taskbar with horizontal lettering.

truly only a retard would do something like that.

correction;
placing it at the bottom is the way it's meant to be used, and is therefor objectively correct
however;
placing it to the left provides the most screen real estate for the most common aspect ratios, but it becomes uncomfortable to use with most programs
in truth;
there's no real need for a taskbar to begin with

what is the benefit to the left side of the screen?
reminder that you should use your software of choice in a manner that allows you to be most productive in your own way.

i prefer my task bar at the top because its an easier motion for me to pull my mouse towards me (navigating through all programs) then pushing the mouse up (away).

But i also use macs from time to time.

eat me.

taskbar w/ merged title bar at is the true top master race
