What about ncurses ?

Ncurses is just colored text characters, like ANSI graphics.

I think that it's all about just knowing what's happening. `mc` is far more convenient for simple and quick tasks than entering the commands (especially if you're wanting to bounce around a lot), but it's really just a wrapper for console commands.

i can instantly highlight the exact part of text or code that i want. instantly means like tenths of a second. you think you do it fast with a keyboard? i can do it twice if not three times as fast. the mouse is brilliant piece of technology that can only be bested by literal telepathy with your computer. not even touch screen can compete with it.
