Is it that he has philosophical objections to working with a non free interface even for the express purpose of reimplementing its behavior with a free codebase? Is it that it's a low priority that he could do but never gets around to (probably because he doesn't actually go to McDonald that much) and it's sort of like the issues tagged for first time contributors on github? "Here, here's a pretty simple task that will set you on St IGNUcous's path to enlightenment?" What has already been tried and abandoned, both on his part and on the part of unknown volunteers?

Please remember open source only looks at the practical side of the problem while disregarding the ethical one and refrain from using that term from now on as it is offensive to Richard Stallman and personally oppresses me as a freedom advocating individual.
