NL torrents still generate gold, but barely anything. The size of your seedbase doesn't matter at all, what matters is how unpopular it is. I'm seeding all of April's uploads from autodl and not even making 400 a day.

It's really easy neon. The 6 hour freeleech allowed people to build a buffer. Most people used that buffer to grab what they want. Some people (very small percentage), would permaseed what they grab.

Now the main source of buffer is gone, so that small autistic percentage that permaseeds their torrents, won't have access to the old releases (or at least will have a smaller incentive to snatch those torrents)

I don't understand your point user. I'll try to spell it out with an example. Imagine I am a new user (and ignore the 2 free leech slots and the initial 20 GB upload). I make 2 GB cross-seeding popular UGC uploads this week. So I grab my favourite PSP game and permaseed it.

With the 6 hour freeleech, by playing the autosnatch game, I'd make 20-50 GB a day. I grab more of my 10 of my favourite PSP games and permaseed them.

10 > 1. I must admit this argument only works for the autistic permaseed types.

(On GGn, I personally don't permaseed anything)

Dont bother with people against 6h FL removal. It was already thoroughly discussed here and on G*n's forums. Majority of people like the change. People that dont like it are mostly fags with 0 uploads that never contributed anything to the tracker. Staff already boosted rates for some things due to constant whining. In a week you would be able to just grab neutral leech packs and get quiet a lot of gold.

User class based on seedtime, ability to use the site coincides with user class. Limit things like search functions a la ASTOST based on certain requirements such as upload or average seedtime. Unsatisfied system like MAM to prevent new users or deserters from snatching everything until they get banned. Site based perks like profile ricing locked behind some statistic or bonus system to attract the autists who are willing to permaseed a terabyte from their seedbox for a snazzy title or irc voice.

Tell me how this could fail. Then we can iron out the kinks.

if you really want to try to race them you need a fast, aggressive seedbox and a good filter that matches theirs.
