What's wrong with the Asus Zenbook series?
Right now if I had to pick a laptop, I'd get this over XPS or MBP. But I never hear anyone talking about this beautiful machine.

Simply fuck off.
I have a zenbook, an ux32vd. Lovely machine apart from the quality.
>keyboard flex like a mofo
>space bar marked the screen because it touches when closed
>battery inflating like a ballon and pushing trackpad out
>if I touch the left side of the lid there is a random cracking noise
>light bleed in the bottom right corner
>non-slip pads came of
apart from all this, I really like this laptop and my next might be a zenbook as well
Had one for a while.
But if you got the choice, don't buy 4k scrren. Buy 1080p.
Shit drove me nuts installing linux because linux can't into scaling
Other than that it's a damn nice piece of hardware
I have ux305fa and it doesn't has those problems
Sup Forums ignores plastic laptops if they are not aimed at bussinesses
for good reason too
>asus
ux305fa here too. It's nice. I'd say it's perfect in all but the default mousepad input latency.
nobody talks about it because there's no meme angle on it. it's boring.
not gonna talk specs or quality. dont care. who cares. its not meme-able.
>space bar marked the screen because it touches when closed
this is a problem I've seen in pretty much every zenbook. Family member had one of the first i7 models and another one of the meme fanless intel processor and even though both are excellent for office work, shitposting and web browsing both had that problem.
tell me where i can buy the ux410uq
i fucking dare you. i've been waiting since october
Biggest bezel.
Otherwise I like their budget series with Nvidia GPU and 2.5" drive slot. I own a UX303UB.
Do the Zenbooks usually have these many problems? Honestly my ux305fa doesn't have any of these issues.
it's less noticeable in yours, what processor do you have?
The current UX390 is too much Macbook wannabe
But UX310/410 really hit the sweetspot
5Y10. I've used this thing for a pretty long time and I've not noticed any marks left on the screen by keys.
So what is lovely about it?
ive had a ux305 for about a year and a half. works great for browsing, media and old games. gets warm and has an occasional display driver crash other than that no problems.
...
I was recommended one with a gpu at best buy earlier, good for browsing but it had a 4K screen and a mere 950m so I don't thing it would be able to run any new games in native 4K. Is this correct?
Also to stay on track, went with cousin to get his Surfacebook today and he was hemming and hawing over the Spectre as well. Which one is better?
>beautiful
>doesn't have leaf blowers in the back
pick one
I fucking love my ux305, thing is amazing.
I use it exclusively for ultra portability, I have a really strong desktop so I don't need any gaming or anything.
battery lasts like 8 hours too.
The only "weakness" is it slows down noticeably when I have like 30 chrome tabs open.
I would a zenbook 3 desu
imagine it charging an honor 8, I think I would get a huge erection
