ITT you're supposed to ask questions that do not deserve their own thread.
Read the sticky before posting, you can often find the answer faster there: Same goes for taking a minute or two and googling your issue first. DO NOT BUMP YOUR QUESTION! You wont get an answer faster, and some people look for posts without replies.
Downloaded and installed Windows 10 LTSB from windows' site, it's supposed to be a 90 day evaluation version where after 90 days it just says install but you don't have to, you can just close out the prompt. The problem is it says I must activate my copy before I can customize anything, anyone know what I can do? I don't think I can get a real LTSB activation key from them because it's not meant for personal use.

how can I run openvpn on linux without leaving a terminal open?
Aiden Lewis

Juan Torres
Thanks, would KMSPico or Daz-loader be able to do the same thing?
Leo Foster
"daz loader" is for win7 and kmspico is made by daz. go to mdl forums and see what people recommend
Owen Cox

Lincoln Perry
Thanks I'll definitely look into it
Zachary James
Need to study for Security +, which book(s) should I buy?
Ryder Wright
I saw something similar being discussed on Sup Forums. Dunno if it's from this thread or another, never got back for the answer. So i'm asking for my situation, is this proper. Should i just pop another fan at top? Should I do more intakes over exhaust?
Adam White
Is there a faster way to download this through my browser? It's the only download that company has on their website.
Elijah Murphy
Move somewhere with faster internet in the next few days
Aaron Cox
NIce dubs. I meant like third party software/add on for firefox for big downloads.
Ethan Roberts
why are there so many pretentious people on here?
Jaxson Jones
Dashchan is acting up because of captcha again, anyone know what is it and is the dev even maintaining the app anymore?

aria2 is pretty nice, won't make it faster, but it handles resumes better
Carson Carter
For some reason I can't connect to any of my VPN's servers, it just gets stuck on connecting no matter which server I try.
Any ideas?
Hudson Rodriguez
This just started happening a few minutes ago, and i am at a lost on how to fix it, and before you ask, i bought drive off of Amazon so its legit.
Leo Cruz
what connector do I need? the right most part is sata, but the left part looks like a smaller sata?
Jayden Powell
Right port is PSU connection. SSDs don't run on SATA alone.
Charles Butler
I assumed it was for power, but what would I call it specifically? I need to order one online but cannot find one.
Asher Morgan
If your PSU did not come with SATA power cables that you plugged into your HDD, it's fucking old.
Eli Collins
anyone know where I can find old zips of reaction folders? pastebin and archive searches are dead links and most torrent sites are down
Elijah Cooper
When ever I try to get my GPU to do anything at all i get a blue screen. I tried updating everything, still happened. I've formatted the laptop, and am now running only the (old)drivers my laptop manufacturer has recommended. Still getting the blue screens. fuck do I do now? I dont have the money to have it looked at.
Wyatt Wright
my ssd has two cables connected to it, one is the size of the right most side. The other is much larger, the cable I am looking for is smaller than the right.
Jackson Ward
Anybody?
Ethan Thompson
Want to download PornHub videos but don't want to make an account, wat do?

Are there any active irc channels for ricing? Besides #rice.
Kayden Walker
I already have an account, but I forgot my password and I'm out of town so I can't just use my computer which is automatically logged in already.
So please halp?

I have questions regarding racks.
1) So let's see if I get this, an external 3.5" rack will allow me to turn my old regular hdd from my PC into an external hdd right? The rack doesn't require a special hdd or any other stuff?
2) Why the hell do internal racks exist? I can just mount my hdd in the case.
3) Why the fuck are 3.5" racks twice more expensive than 2.5" racks? The components are identical, a SATA-USB and another USB for power.
4) Why the hell do 2.5" racks even exist? 2.5" hdd are very rare as separate components. Do laptop owners repurpose their 2.5" hdds that often?
5) How does a singular external rack cool the hdd?
Robert Collins
>rack rack rack rack rack rack gonna have to be more specific
Jordan James
If you don't know what hdd racks are then you don't know about the subject anyway.
Lincoln Hill
Jdownloader, youtube-dl, just about any online porn video downloadeder would work fine.
Luis Jackson
I know enough to know that just calling something a "hdd rack" could mean a dozen different things, unlike your retarded ass
Does anyone here deal with Visual Basic? Wondering about something but not sure if I can do it.
>need to add text to a multiline textbox >want to use a For Loop to do so >don't know how to keep adding text to a textbox
Easton Harris
How do I install OS X (MacOS(Picrel) ) on normal Intel-processor-based and intel-gpu computer?
Ryder Ramirez
>could mean a dozen different things
No, it only means one thing. You should really get back to Sup Forums, this place isn't for you.
Leo White
can't you just background the cmd using '&' ?
Gavin Bailey
VB6 or VB.NET?
Aaron Perry
Why use your browser? Use wget or curl in restartable mode or Filezilla if you need a GUI
Sebastian Cruz
Ugh. Did you fucking vomit on your machine? Wtf is wrong with you? Clean your space.
Angel Brown
Provide a pic showing how the cables that are attached to the SSD are terminated.
Leo Wilson
Inspect the video using built-in devtools of browser. Oftentimes, the URL of the video is shown in the markup.
Juan Ross
how do i get wayland to work with Wine
Levi Jenkins
Sorry, should have said VB.Net in the beginning.
Owen Foster
if you need to add text one by one use appendtext on your textbox, otherwise use a stringbuilder and set the text once it's complete. no need to redraw the window for every line then. see msdn for appendtext or stringbuilder. to make a new line use environment.newline manually or the appendline method on the stringbuilder
Mason Hughes
Is there a way to repackage, a program that's already installed to installable format?
Charles Gomez
on windows? depends on the program. most programs today install by just decompressing the application files and put a shortcut into your start menu. some more complex ones install their services that need to run. and some old shitty ones pollute the registry with nonsense.
I need to wipe HDD, then reinstall windows on it, the connect UV analyzer machine. The problem is the driver CD is lost, and the company went under.
Will this allow to transfer the driver files?
Owen Brown
Yes, on windows. Is there a program that will do it? I know if it's just decompressing, then simply copying the files will do. But what if it has some services/.dll/registry entries?
Hudson Hughes
I did try append text but didn't seem to work. I'll try environment newline. Basically trying to add an array list to a multiline textbox in an order.
Brandon Jenkins
post code
Gavin Brooks
not that I know of, there's no unified way of installing. every program could potentially do it differently. you have to do it manually. figure out what the application needs, copy it over to somewhere else and install/register the services.
Jonathan Mitchell
Very unlikely.
Jackson Rogers
I see, it would have worked if it trowed a sane error.
Evan Perry
Would rather not impressive myself since I have no idea what I'm doing.
Landon Sanchez
am i a clever boy or will this not work?
>have pirated photoshit cs6 >sometimes need to reinstall >file to crack gets moved from torrent to program files on my pc
i know, ill just make a seperate folder with a copy of the crack and make sure i copy a new one if i need to unistall
will this work?
Joseph Scott
It might work. I'd try two or three different programs. And if it's really fucking important maybe do a macrium image of your system drive in case you end up having to go back. Your safest bet would be to keep looking for the driver installer. If you go to device manager, click on it's properties, details tab, what does it say under "compatible id's"
Grayson Turner
How do web-crawlers not accidentally buy shit online if they just follow every link on a web page?
Alexander Brown
>clever boy >crack for photoshop when key generators exist nope.
Adam Allen
I'd bet good money your PC is just riddled with malware.
Jordan Lopez
why would you make a web crawler that could input valid payment information? also robots.txt
Jaxon Allen
they only do GET requests, not POST. Buttons and other form stuff are generally submitted using POST, not GET. Besides, how would they enter payment/shipping options? They don't fill out forms.
It might be possible for an online shop to purely work on GET requests, but I have high doubts anyone would do that to themselves, a lot more effort for no gains at all.
Levi Adams
What other application do you recommend? The thing is very important, since if it doesn't work the whole device will render useless. Are there sites that provide drivers?
Brayden Nelson
>Ignores second half of comment
Liam Ramirez
Is D good?
William Murphy
Yes, but I prefer V.
Joseph Moore
I don't know. I've never tried it.I'm not opposed to the idea, but I'm not gay, so it's never been something I look for.
Jace Butler
Anyone else use dropbox and have it consistently seize up after about a day or so of uptime? I only notice it when windows explorer starts refusing to show file icons/thumbnails, and the only fix is to terminate both processes and restart it. It's been doing this shit for months and I'm sick of it.
And now I've had a situation where dropbox went and deleted shit I put into it during a time when I neglected to start it back up again (instead of simply "catching up" and syncing the stuff I added). Now I can't trust it and I refuse to fucking babysit it anymore. If I can't fix this then fuck dropbox.
Failing that, what's a good alternative to dropbox?
Thomas Jenkins
Sorry, I can't get that right now. But it's not PCI/something something It was something like USB/xxxxx-xxxxx
Alexander Kelly
Flash is rather laggy on this computer, even running old flash games. What do?
Julian Cruz
Made a new build with Ryzen, reusing my old PSU
So looking for a cheap power supply to run my old parts (x4 640, 16gb ram, potentially 4-6 drives down the road, will be just for plex)
If you want your computer to literally explode, it's a good choice.
Eli Russell
Come on guys give me some desktop app project that I can do in python. I want to make something but i don't have any idea what
Jackson Butler
Well the more non-standard something is, the less likely that the driver programs will pick it up. If you also need some kind of application ( i.e. ), then you're almost certainly boned. This is not a thing that windows does well. Your best bet is to take whatever info you can and scour the internet. If you do find something that MIGHT work, then like I said, you can do a full partition backup, and if it's a no-go, revert back easily.
Evan Campbell
Make a chat client to pass messages between computers. Bonus points for asynchronous encryption.
Elijah Bennett
shit i was just doing what i was used to
youre probably right but i havent noticing anything bobbing my laptop down
Nathaniel Reyes
i don't have second computer to test it though
Nathaniel Allen
not use flash
Jacob Rogers
servers and clients can work on the same machine you faggot
Oliver Wright
yeah that makes sense lmao
Daniel Brooks
>haven't noticed There should be a list of retarded fallacies that people regularly make listed in the sticky. You don't have to "notice" anything to be infected with malware. You can be welcomed into the literal botnets just fine without you or your antivirus "noticing" anything.
Easton Brown
Clean install and quit installing software from torrents
>even running old flash games Protip: it's not the games themselves that got slower over time.
Juan Cox
If you don't want to kill hardware. Don't get a cheap PSU. Always, ALWAYS go with a name brand PSU with an 80+ rating.
Corsair Vengeance 500W is a good power supply.
Josiah Ramirez
>botnets
>get free ps cs6 >give other people viruses and spam
how is this bad?
hmm sounds promising but why should i trust reddit over pirates? it only has 89 le upvotes after all. im really tempted to tell you you have to go back
Dominic Hill
>LibreOffice. >Phone as a network modem (tethering)
>Disconnect phone from PC >LibreOffice fucking tilts for 45 minutes unless I reboot PC
>Can reproduce anytime I want it by closing the tethering connectiong
WHAT THE DOG SHIIT FUCK
FUCKING DO GHIST POO INT HT LEOO WHAT THE FUC FUCKING WHAT
Matthew Collins
89 vs 0. And torrents are usually bottom tier. Also there's the small fact that you can install adobe ENTIRELY WITH SHIT FROM THEIR OWN WEBSITE. At least you could for a long time, if you weren't too retarded to use a VM. Tards always buying into the "b-b-but reddit!" meme. I guess this is what I should expect from someone who thinks joining a botnet is a great way to fuck with other people at no personal risk.
Dylan Gray
>Buttons and other form stuff are generally submitted using POST, not GET. Yea but aren't there webcrawlers that look for possible security vulnerabilities in sites, like JS injections? They certainly wouldn't be valid, but they still could be valid. Also, I don't know if this kind of stuff still exists, but wheren't there some shady sites where you agreed to some payment contract simply by clicking links and they would then sue you if you didn't pay?
Julian Fisher
Can someone explain why I can cross-origin request by proxying through YQL (Yahoo Query Language using their servers for things like a website's RSS feed, yet I violate CORS when doing it myself? What about using YQL makes it so that Yahoo isn't violating CORS? And is that something I can replicate without using YQL but just using my own server, to get access to a site's RSS and to then put into my client-side page?
Colton Williams
jesus i thought my shitposting was a little more obvious
>89 vs 0 if we are using that metric there's usually some 2k leechers on this particular torrent at any given time.
Gabriel Wood
because their server side language doesn't care about cross origin, where your browser does. in their header they tell your browser that they allow you fetching stuff from them and will then fetch it on their server side from the original server ignoring the headers.
easiest way to replicate is to set up a proxy in your server and map a directory to a different server. how depends on the server. see proxy_pass for nginx.
Easton King
I've always thought "Leecher" was a pretty good name. Mindless, helpless drones reaching out by instinct for someone to feed them.
Sadly it's very hard to make shitposting obvious when the baseline of retardation around here is so high.
Aaron Gomez
what's the best programm to monitor my hdds and their smart values?
Thomas Gonzalez
Is there anyway i can automatically toggle mobile data when i open an app like spotify rather than opening he tray?
