Hipster language thread

It sucks learning languages that have next to no resources for learning to speak them because of their obscurity or perceived uselessness. Any of y'all learning an obscure language?

I tried Latin, couldn't do it.

Ah reckin ah be learnin' Southron by and by, yes siree. Believee, ah be fixin' ter do it and ain't nothin' gon' stop me, so help me gawd!

TOKI!
MI UNPA E MAMA SINA! :D

I can't find any grammar on Enochian, but I found a few vocabulary lists of varying quality.

mama mije mi o, ni li sina ala sina? mama meli mi li toki e ni: sina jan ike jaki li tawa weka tan mi en mama

Sorry, that's the only Toki Pona I know.

Teach me, O Comrade Toki.

tokipona.net/tp/janpije/okamasona.php is good course

I know. I wanted you to teach me here. :P

Just read 3-6 or 7 lessons, open the dictionary and then you can start toki.

Jeg lærer meg norsk. Hvorfor? Jeg viser ikke.

How do I learn Galician and Sardinian

I wanted to create a pan-Germanic language to help with my German and later Danish

Folkspraak.

Latin teacher here
praise the German educational system

I looked into it, but it seems to split and it would be easier (and more helpful for me) to create my own.
zompist.com/kit.html
is what I'll use to try and help me. I want it to be a little archaic like Old English and Middle High German

As a guy who had to learn old english
don't

Eh, doesn't seem that hard from standard Hochdeutsch, which Ich lernen at the moment. I'm already practicing Middle English as a stepping stone to get to Beowulf

>Ich lernen
Ich lerne

>doesn't seem that hard from standard Hochdeutsch
It isn't really, but it has some peculiar things and as an anglo it will fuck you up
Germans learn it much easier than anglos

> I'm already practicing Middle English as a stepping stone to get to Beowulf
Just go for old English immediately

Salve

>Ich lernen
sorry on that mess up, I was practicing perfekt today.

In the end, even if I am not able to completely write in it I want to be able to understand at the least beowulf and caedmon's hymn without dictionary

o7

Every part of this post makes me cringe.

>I was practicing perfekt today
That would be ich habe gelernt.

> at the least beowulf and caedmon's hymn without dictionary
In that case cultural knowledge is much more important than grammar, the old english poets used compound words, similar to German to describe or name things, causing the same guy to be able to have like 50 names in one poem, but for everything else as well

For example a journey aship could be the whale's way, which is one of the simpler terms

What?

A salute

First time I've seen that

Well my Germans just really shit today then, too much new stuff fucking with the old

And I love the kennings like Whale's way, just sounds cool
well then I'm cringe I don't care

When the fuck did Latin become hipster? Esperanto and French are hipster. And maybe Sanskrit because all the hipsters are taking yoga.

Thought of learning Romanian

It's for cool people only, has been used for years though.

Latin has always been hipster.

>Latin has always been hipster.
>dis nigger
Up until the 50s it was expected of every educated man to speak latin and possibly greek

here may help

Would you fuck a Sardinian girl?

Salvete amici. Americanus magister Latinae reportans. Noli nostrum oblivisci. Non omnes nos plebes sumus.

You might like this writing system
s.ai/nlws/

Definitely, I want to defile her beautiful ancient European womb

Nice

She's so cute, how do I attract Sardinian girls? Are they into gfd

Not perfect but solid, you even remembered that verbs of forgetting use the genetive, but nostrum is only used for the partitive genetive, otherwise you use nostri

Also, non before the verb for stylepoints. Otherwise there's nothing major

ROMANES EUNT DOMUS
ROMANES EUNT DOMUS
ROMANES EUNT DOMUS
ROMANES EUNT DOMUS
ROMANES EUNT DOMUS

What's gfd? Don't want to google it, hope it's not some cuck bullshit.

Ite.

Gentle femdom, it's pretty cute sweet stuff, but most of the community is trash.

I LOVE the nonlinear writing system. It is one of the most brilliant languages ever devised.

I want to learn Ancient Egyptian

.i rx kmt

>tfw trying to learn Finnish

There are resources but they're not always great.

I want to learn Sanksrit. Know any resources?

it's part of any patrician classic school education in western europe.

all you need to know

... Icelandic Danish?

At least we have fuel to run the car in the garage.

...

The fuck... maybe some are, anyway I suspect that was what you meant, I saw thatt fetish mentioned a couple times in Sup Forums.
Corsican exists, it's really closely related to North Eastern Sardinian (Gallurese)

kekum maximun

...

are you trying to hurt my feelings or something?

because Venezuelan car fuel is the cheapest in the world lmao filling a trunk gas tank is about 2 dollars.

Itsemurha pekka, you know it

Danish is a required subject in Icelandic public schools but they call it "Scandinavian" and it's different than continental Danish

I know I'll never speak it well, but I accepted that a long time ago.

And yet still no money to buy it.

Try Catalunian it's easy and close to original latin

PERKELE ITSEMURHA SAATANA KAURISMÄKI HUMPPA HOPPO

I already know an obscure language
look up papiamento

try Copt first

I knew that, but I thought you meant there was an actual language named 'Icelandic Danish'. Icelandic is far better though.

330,000 speakers, not bad.

>käytänne
Never heard of that one desu

Sounds like "käy tänne" which would mean "[it's] usable in/to here" or "käytä ne" which would mean "use em!" as in imperative.

>tfw your native language is hipster Spanish
You all mainstream speaking niggas don't even know what it be like

I already speak an obscure useless language. Can't recommend it.

käytänne = tradition of how something is supposed to be done

are you a laplander?

I was referring to Swedish.

Lel the ultimate hipster.
