Welcome to your new coding workplace! Find a table for the day!

>Welcome to your new coding workplace! Find a table for the day!

what is his end game?

>coding

autism

>BLM poster on the wall

There is a duplicate of him

>not a single chair with a headrest

What's with the weird sunflowers?

why the fuck would you make something like this when basically every programmer on earth tells you to please not do it?

>People would actually work for a company that doesn't give them their own private space.
Why though, open office concepts are awful.

It's cheap

While that picture gives a very powerful urge to end my own life as soon as possible it makes me want a big high end monitor.

>big high end monitor
>not three good medium sized monitors

from someone who falled for the 27" 4K meme

>Huge screen and actually using real-estate sensibly instead of just browsing the net like almost everyone else in the picture
>Separate laptop workstation
>Decent closed cans but they're not on because he's fucking working
>All those bottles of water at the desk signifying he stays there for prolonged periods
>Posture of active thinking
>Sensible clothing designed for value and comfort instead of attention seeking
>Lumbar support adjusted low, this nig never leans back, always on the clock

This is the one guy in the photograph who actually gets shit done.

but lumbar on low is much comfier for leanign back

Maybe if you've got a healthy posture but if you're hunched like fucking quasimodo from years of actually fucking working then no it isn't.

>27"
obviously not big enough
i want a curved ultrawide about 18" tall with a absolute shitload of pixels
pls send
thank

>can see at least 4 white boards

who needs headsets when you can just holler across the hall. It's not like people can get distraction free work done in this environment, anyway.

>BLM on bulletin board
I wish I was surprised

>dave
>HEY DAVE
>... yea?
>we're doing photos for our workspace promo, pretend you're having fun
>FUCK OFF I'M DOING THE WORK OF THIS ENTIRE HALL

what did they mean by this?

I actively try to avoid workplaces like this. I'm in the Northeast US and these places don't really exist outside the largest cities.

My current gig is writing Solidworks addins and other tools for a small engineering firm. I get an entire room to myself.

I have a friend who drives 30 minutes along backroads to get to a place where he writes engine diagnostics software. He gets a big ass cubicle and all the autonomy he wants or needs, as long as shit gets in on time.

"Open" workplaces will reduce your efficacy and imply a lack of respect from the top brass.

>Nigger Lives Matter
>Standing Rock
I love technology but I fucking hate the people that work in it. Stupid fucking brahmin oven middle class White people who hate themselves and their heritage.

shit

yea, i don't think whiteboards are supposed to go along as your software evolves into a bloated monstrosity.
That whole agile development meme is supposed to emphasize the inverse of this.

I think that's a football play

>JUST

its THE MAP
they are lost without it

What an absolute mess, no wonder silicon valley types are such miserable abortions of human beings.

We need to balance this garbage out, post some comfy offices Sup Forums.

>no privacy
would legit quit

If you don't have autism then what's the problem? Put on some noise cancelling headphones even. Are you all annoyed that you won't get to browse faggot websites without being seen?

I guarantee you no work gets done in that office you've posted.

Also, Weeb shit on the desks and walls? A serious work environment? WHITE EVERYWHERE?

You're fucking kidding me. This is the bedroom of some NEET with rich parents.

why is it all done up like an 8 year olds birthday party

anyone else find it to be a bit depressing
if I was shown that viewpoint 'this is your new workplace', i'd be depressed

>people honestly think open workspaces are better

only for management

Any desk?
Let's see where them stairs on the left lead...

Upvotes

looks like a cool place to work

This picture gives me severe anxiety

You know what?

Granted these people work with a bit of human decency and keep silent most of the time and if they worked on a piece of software that I actually liked and cared about (instead of Facebook out of all things), I could imagine working there.

Working on something you hate while continously being surrounded by people who (at least pretend to) like what they do must be hell though

this

>BLM
>not a single nigger in the pic

>Let's look at Martha's commit
>Womyn programmers
>Better send Martha back to GirlDevelopIt

fucking disgusting

...

"open workplaces"

i think it would sap your energy
like being in a railway concourse
having to be alert all the time because everyone else is alert

you'd be drained @ the end of a day, working in a place like that

the aspect of some of the characters shown indicates that they are weary

Of the nine screens facing us in the foreground:

Four of them are off/locked
Two of them are browsing twitter fullscreen

seattle office >>> anything else

Posting my workplace.

I think they called it a "healing office" which is quite popular here in the Netherlands.

>exposed wires, vents and beams

why would you want to work there?

maybe its twitter

Get your eyes checked

What do you fucking expect, if you want to be surrounded be more conservative people learn a trade.

that's a hell of a lot nicer
also 'adult'

looks comfy, it depends on how many people work there

not true. loads of conservatives in tech (don't know about SV, this place is cancer anyways), they just usually shut the fuck up, work and spend time with their family. they don't have time for bullshit.

Open workplaces is all about money saving. Cubicles are surprisingly pretty expensive despite being basically cardboard with some metal framing. Also considering this workplace didn't even bother putting a proper ceiling on to hide all the vents I'm sure cost saving is exactly what they were shooting for.

THIS.

It's actually facebook office.

>this workplace didn't even bother putting a proper ceiling on to hide all the vents
B-but it's industrial interior design!

Where am I supposed to masturbate if not in my own private office?

A pipe that doesn't pipe something to somewhere is actually intensely sad on some level.

I've been in actual steel mills and they are more organized and safe in than OP's pic.

yeah but who wants their sewer pipes being leaned on by guests? Imagine falling out of that loft AND being covered in sewage.

>if you're hunched like fucking quasimodo from years of actually fucking working
Fix your posture you fucking retard.

Or you could just not bring politics to work

Those smaller pipes are water pipes, not sewage. Those bigger pipes that could be sewage aren't breaking anytime soon even if you lean on them.

Cubicles are illegal in many countries.
Because lack of sunlight makes people depressed.

OP's picture doesn't seem to have enough sunlight anyways though.

I would outright refuse to work in either a cubicle or in crowded open office.
4 to 6 people in a room or partly closed off section is best. - enough to have fun from time to time but not too crowded to concentrate.

>tissues and lube for masturbating
>stuffed animals
>he's actually jerking off in that pic

Hahahahahaha

it's hand sanitizer tho

That's worse.

I am center-right borderline-Sup Forums and one of my best friends is a vegan anti-car socialist psycholgy student but we still have common interest and just don't talk about politics.

Interestingly enough, most of my autistic CS colleagues at school won't shut the fuck up about any political topic that crosses their mind.

...

>most of my autistic CS colleagues at school won't shut the fuck up about any political topic that crosses their mind.
Ain't this the truth. One of my classes last semester couldn't fucking answer the simplest questions that the professor posed but we suddenly got off-topic about the election one class (prof was talking about his job with the gov't a bit) and boy howdy did the autists finally find their voices.

You think you had it bad. In my information systems class a student called the election worse than 9/11.

It's the fuckin' rabbit hole, man.

Yeah it was on that day that I realized I need to just gtfo of the technology industry and now I am in finance.

No politics, no debates, just facts and math all day.

>masturbating to pusheen the cat

It's absurd. I once visited my friend's political science class for giggles and expected an absolute shitfest. But no, nothing. Just regular discussion about political history.

Now my Network Security class on the other hand consisted 25% of Trump bashing, also bashing of surveillance infrastructure that wasn't even put there by Trump in the first place. (not even a big fan of Trump personally 2bh, but jesus christ can we just do the actual class please?!)

BLACK LIVES MATTER ON THE WHITE BOARD TO THE RIGHT!

Sup Forums BTFO!!!

Thanks for being the 8th person in this thread to point that out

>In my information systems class a student called the election worse than 9/11

I hope they got their ass kicked by someone who knew someone who died that day.

lol this

*face palm*

I'm going to work there soon and I don't see the big deal. If you want privacy you can easily get a room with a whiteboard, chair, desk, etc.

I also doubt a thread full of neets knows more about productivity then a company that pulls billions yearly.

How can they be productive in such giant cage? I need total silence when thinking about things

>those monitor setups
my dick

It's not because a company is big and makes a lot of money thats it's necessarily efficient.

It's not just you. That would be a bleak fucking start to a new job.

"This fucking hellhole circus will be your enclosure while you piss away your life being a wagecuck"

Looks comfy and professional, but it's still a fucking open workspace which is instant disqualification

How so?

An open workspace with smaller surrounding quiet rooms seems pretty balanced to me.

>Lets look at Martha's commit.
>Wtf she only commented the code I wrote.
>Shhh dude, dont be such a sexist or you'll get fired.

They did get berated by the professor and someone who served in the armed forces, but nothing physical unfortunately.

it is worse than 911
trump is a disaster
just, trump (the unfit)

>not even wearing gayming glasses

I have a massive migraine right now. This only makes my head hurt.more from all that shit in the room.

The guy with the beard screams normie.

stay mad faggot

My friend is Freelance photographer.
his studio for editing look like that.

At some boards merely having a job means being a normie.
