Currently have a Droid Turbo 2. I like it somewhat, but I'm literally in the process of backing up all my shit so I can wipe the phone for the fourth time in my history with it. The phone just has a tendency of lagging like fuck and freaking out after awhile, which I think mostly happens after I update to the latest version of Android. (Last time I had to do this was when I updated from 5.0 to 6.0, and I'm doing this again about two weeks after going from 6.0 to 7.0)
I was debating between getting the S8 or KeyOne as a replacement phone (if it ever comes to Verizon), but if the new Moto Z2 Force comes with a headphone jack, then I might just wait because all things said, I'm appreciated the near stock android that moto has. (And that BlackBerry has. The only reason I'm thinking about the S8 is for DeX)

All these Hindi guys are doing videos on how to root motoG5 plus phones. My motog5 is preordered (not paid for yet), but I'm seeing so many replacement parts for Nexus 5x phones it's not even funny. I feel like I'm going to be shit out of luck in 2 years, but with the Nexus 5x I already know it can run NetHunter, LineageOS, it roots and everything. Has anyone got these fears that when you buy a phone and really want to root it, that it won't be possible?
