California reporting in.

Geographically, it's paradise. We have it all. Awesome beaches, impressive mountain ranges, beautiful deserts, the beautiful Mediterranean/Chaparral environment along the southern coast, the tallest trees (Coastal Redwoods), the largest trees (Sequoias), as well as the oldest trees in the world (Ancient Bristlecone Pine). To top it off, the weather is great.

As far as cities are concerned, the coastal metropolises are world-class, with San Francisco being the crown jewel, and this is coming from a SoCal guy. The inland cities are hit and miss, but the good thing is that you're not that far from paradise. Yeah, California is pretty awesome.

Real Californian here. It's fucking shitty for the most part.
