Why don’t any americans race in Formula 1?

Why don’t any americans race in Formula 1?

They have to change gears in F1

right turns confound them

but there are burger drivers in f1 they're just shit though

...

...

Savage.

We have NASCAR

plenty of american f1 drivers

you just don't remember any

It's a shit show anyway. Might as well watch paint dry.

too busy turning left

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

comparing nascar to f1 is like comparing monster trucks to spaceships

NASCAR makes insane amounts of money and has attendance well over 100,000 at a ton of races. I'm positive they don't care what you think of it.

Keep turning left.... and now turn left.... and now straight...
>HOLY SHIT WAIT UP THIS IS TO MUCH FOR MY AMERICAN DRIVING SKILLS

F1s been shit this last decade, early 2000 is when it started to get worse. It's prime was 80s and 90s tbf.

The thing is that americans get bored quickly when they don't win. So they found new types of sports where they can be good in, e.g. Nascar, Indycar or handegg.

Because we have Indy Car.

You obviously care. Cartoonish overhyped bullshit like most american sport.

So do reality shows. Doesn't mean it's consider a sport or it's intersting in a meaningful way.

As far as I know America doesn't have any support systems or feeder series for young drivers to progress up the ranks into F1. I guess you could say that Indy is a feeder series, but even back when it wasn't a complete joke, the only 2 drivers of significance to come out of IndyCar were foreign (Villeneuve and Montoya).

Actual Americans wanting to get an F1 seat might still be hindered by the spectacular failure that was Michael """""Andretti""""" at McLaren.
