What is the nicest place to live in Mexico...

What is the nicest place to live in Mexico? Is every area crime- and cartel-ridden or are there certain areas of Mexico that are first world status? Is it a fallacy to compare all of Mexico to Juarez and Tijuana just like it would be to compare all of America to Detroit?

Hello carlos

Not even Mexican I just want to know how distorted America's view of Mexico is, or if the distortion is the reality and Mexico really is as bad as they say.

Pls respond

I think I've heard that Monterrey is good. I don't really know though

yucatan and hidalgo maybe idk

Don't come here, I'll personally behead you if you do.

mexico has 4 times the homicide rate of USA, USA has 4 times the homicide rate of europe/australia
so think of mexico as the 1st world's USA

Where do you live? Is it nice there?

...

Don't go user, yucatan and hidalgo are the second and third biggest shitholes, there is only one shittier state and it's name shall not be revealed because i don't want to be beheaded.

rude 2bh

Where do you live? Are you in that shittiest state? Is that why you fear beheading?

So what is the nicest state? Is it the one with the most European blood?

Safe: Mexico city, Queretaro, Nuevo Leon, Hidalgo, Cancun, Guanajuato, Puebla.

Stay away: Guerrero, Sinaloa, Jalisco, Tamaulipas, Juarez.

Plenty of people retire and move to Mexico. Just live in one of those towns, they even speak english.

Stay Away also from Michoacan and Oaxaca

Where should I go to find a mexican qt that I can marry

This.

Mexico city is safe? I would imagine that only applies to certain districts, right?

I would recomen not going to Mexico city unless you have a local always with you.
It's very easy to lose yourself in there, the city is literally a tourist trap and I mean the bad kind of tourist traps. Adventurous gringos (those with huge backpacks, khaki shorts, sunglasses and obnoxious attitude) end up dead, raped, kidnapped or mugged, just because they wanted to visit "du real mejico". If you want to come in here, do the sane thing, get a tourist guide, go in group and spend some decent money. Everything outside that, is your whole responsibility, we're used to it, from the richest whitest duche bag to the smelliest browner dude we all have a 5th sense that tell us when it's OK to be somewhere and when it's completely ludicrous.

You have to be smart listen to this guy The city is large, very large, and it does have no go zones, like tepito, no matter what people tell you don´t ever get close, many good zones can have a not so nice one around them, and try to blend in, no shorts no sandals. I used to work as a tourist guide.

>tepito

Damn looks pretty awful.

It has his charm once you know how to blend in and know how look like a lowlife gasoline sniffer,

>Where do you live? Are you in that shittiest state? Is that why you fear beheading?
So what is the nicest state? Is it the one with the most European blood?

We don't give a fuck about European blood around here, the shittiest state is Puebla, the people smell like shit and beheads you on sight.

Chiapas and Yucatan are one of the safest states in Mexico, and they are the least white shitholes in entire /lat/.
They are poor as shit, so every correlation with ethnicity in Mex is completely nonsense.

>We don't give a fuck about European blood around here,

That's not what I've heard.

search for "pueblos magicos" almost all of them are safe and very beautiful, i personally like "valle de bravo", "valladolid" , "san cristobal de las casas", "tulum" and "bernal" there are a lot thought

>Nuevo Leon
>Safe

No

>Adventurous gringos
>dead, raped, kidnapped
>In Mexico City

No, what the fuck are you talking about? And while there are actually no go zones, you would only get robbed (still pretty bad). But not killed unless you do something incredibly stupid like trying to disarm the robbers.

Also, Neza is not part of Mexico City,

San miguel de allende is really nice also.

you´re right
you´re not
you´re right

nice try, beans.
why don't you just go back then?

How /fa/ is gasoline sniffer-core?

I found Aguascalientes very nice and clean. I thought it was safe. Any Mexicans have an opinion on AC

Objectively

ooohh it's jalisco isn't it

...

i've been throughout yucatan, campeche, and quintana roo, and while I wouldn't say they necessarily felt dangerous in no fucking universe would I describe them as "civilization"

it's literally nothing but rainforest with the occasional small town with coca cola ads sprayed all over the buildings

...

How about Veracruz?

It's simple - you do NOT go to any country in America below the US.

I'm telling you. Locals will know you're a tourist and locals with bad intentions will try to rob you, or worse. Unless you have a permanent guide like a family member living there, do not risk it. I've been to Brazil and Argentina and shit is crazy.

Stay safe.

I have been to Buenos Aires and Patagonia. I loved Argentina. It is the only place I have been south of the border.

>Moortugar talking about awfulness and violence

Wew lad

Murder rate
>Mexican: 18.9
>Portugal: 1.3

Global peace index
>Portugal: 11th
>Mexico: 144th

Portugal is one of the safest countries in the world. Mexico is a world renown shithole. If I were you I'd move ASAP.

veracruz its dangerous
i have lived all my life in mexico city and i haven't been robed a single time. and believe me, in most parts of mexico we respect tourists

yeah this is what i'd expect, it's not *bad* but there's like nothing there, look at the density

also quintana roo can prob be explained by cancun

>Americas view is distorted, but I need someone who has actually been there to tell me how insightful and forward thinking I am.

The ones built by Spaniards

So pretty much nothing. Thanks.

How about Colima / Manzanillo? Looks like a nice place.

Also, I've been to CDMX myself and I've been to the ghetto parts with my tourguide. Still pretty nice compared to MIchoacan.

This is what Mexico City is like for foreigners.

Especially since, for them, everything is incredibly cheap. And the bad parts aren't like you described; Robberies? Yes, Killing foreigners? Hell no, like said.

I guess that's what you get from speaking portuguese outside Brazil.

Like I haven't been robbed after going to Mexico / Panama / Colombia / Peru / Chile. And the places I have been to mostly ain't even tourist spots.

If you take me as a refugee, sure.

this

Been to yucatán and quintana roo 10/10 would visit again

But it's not

What happened to your eagle??
