Distinguishing feature of Korean traditional architecture compare to China and Japan is roof curvature = bottom part of roof. Korean traditionally buildings have round bottom. Chinese and Japan have curve toward the end or Japan often has no curve.

Post imperial buildings...
China had so much destroyed by the war.
They got pushed all the way back to Sichuan, and it got bombed to bits.
What a horrible war.
>The United States dropped more bombs in Korea (635,000 tons, as well as 32,557 tons of napalm) than in the entire Pacific theater during World War II.
That's a lot of bombs.
ROME
The Market was awesome.
And the Colliseum was bigger than I thought. It even had basements below the arena floor.
And the aqueducts!
A year after I visited, I explored the same cities I had seen in 2008, as Ezio Auditore. Great game.

Does NORK have many historical sites? Does the government handle their sites well?
Also Het Steen, originally built during the Viking Age, the building around which Antwerp formed.
Newgrange, older than the Pyramids and Stonehenge
>what is this building's purpose?
We don't really know, it's too old. It could be religious or a tomb.
Its shape is unique, something that long wasn't found anywhere even in other places with a lot of cairn, like Ireland or Spain and it's bigger than most too
There are also old stone carvings inside pic related
I'm really fascinated by these things
But why?
Religious?
That's cool.
NK has even more funny enough. But they are poorly maintained.
How old we talking?
>Pic related 6500 years old

Pre-Roman stuff is pretty boring desu, but most Roman stuff here is not in great condition unfortunately.

And other arenas like in Arles pic related, there's also an old Roman road near my village (Via Domitia)

Well what I love about all these Pre Roman buildings (not counting the Greek remains we have some as well) isn't the complexity, most of the time sure it's just some rocks stacked together but the mystery and just thinking how old it is fascinated me
