How similar is Finnish to Estonian? I know that they're both finno ugric but I don't know how much alike they are.
I just read that "the fish swims in the water" quote or something like that that tries to show that Finnish, Hungarian and Estonian all have the same origin, as that phrase is supposed to be mutually intelligible in the three languages.
