Fake news. They didn't even bother trying to block it with a hosts file, either.
yes yes! goy. he's a liar!
>Hey guys listen to what Reddit is saying!
>block it with a hosts file
Too obvious.
...
Holy shit wincucks. Defend this.
Worrying that, apart from the rest of the spying, MS can silently install software and create firewall rules for it. This is crazy. Why would anyone trust this, or defend it?
>What do we do Sup Forums?
Nothing. Why do you give a shit what reddit does?

STALLMAN

RIGHT.
>MS can silently install software and create firewall rules for it. This is crazy.
Are you fucking retarded? Did you completely forget they previously downloaded an entire operating system onto millions of people's computers without their consent?
This is old fucking news, Microsoft has always been, and always will be, the devil.
Anyone with half a brain would realize that any and all options (besides interface ones) are placebo. Microsoft serves their own interest, not yours.
>seriously /r/Windows10 is defending Microsoft like rabid dogs. What do we do Sup Forums?
Go back there.
Why do you faggots keep posting "REDDIT DID X" threads? Fuck off.
>a circlejerk blindly defends the thing they circlejerk about
more news at 11
>Microsoft serves their own interest, not yours.
Nooooo, really?
t. winbaby
>Why would anyone trust this, or defend it?
I can assure you, most people defending this shit are probably "pc master race" gamers that don't want to admit that they are getting fucked by microsoft
Obviously you weren't getting it you fucking retard.
Really??? What else??? Do tell.
Wow! No waaaaaay. I totally never knew that Microsoft were an "evil" company hated by many due to their monopolistic and anti-competitive behavior over the many years. I'm sure so glad we have a captain obvious to point out, well, the obvious. Thanks Captain.
>inb4 hurr durr that wasn't me, hurr
Nice to see this image already being spread all over the place.

Why would Microsoft add firewall rules to Windows Firewall when they could add a pass through in the code for the firewall, making it a secret rule?
>not using fx8350
Basically this.
Pretty funny to see the comments there though
>But then again: why would one uninstall paint?
>He sets the "Allow Telemetry" GP to Disabled and notices telemetry traffic is still happening - must mean the policy is being ignored. However, as the policy states: "If you disable or do not configure this policy setting, users can configure the Telemetry level in Settings" - as in disabling the GPO does nothing. You're supposed to actually configure the GPO if you want to change the behavior.
That makes sense. There's an option that says "Disable Telemetry" but it doesn't actually do anything and microsoft wrote that in their user policy nobody reads.
