even under 1.3v its hot, thinking TIM paste is crusty and dry.

1.3 should be the max on a 4770k

4got to put clocks, 4.5ghz

Says who?

That's really impressive to me at least

OC using bclk?
What is your motherboard?

anyone got a 2500k? Just got a cooler and don't know what to aim for

Asrock Fatality I believe

What cooler?

scythe ashura

CPU: e5200
Daily ghz: 3.23ghz
Voltage: 1.128v
Cooling method: box cooler
:Temps under idle and 100% load: 50-62c

Could probably hit 4.4gh+
Under 1.4v is safe for sandy bridge (its safe for most cpus, but people squirm badly at this thought.)

Look like Asrock removed OC setting through update.

Nit delidded. If I delidded it and got a water cooldr I could probably daily 5Ghz.

No delid. I won the silicon lottery because I can get to 5.2GHz but the temp peaks at 95 when I do that

mfw 4770k cant get past 4.5ghz without hitting 1.4 volts

how did you achieve this? holy shit user I'm proud of you

2500k
4.3
1.32
60-65

Won't go any higher than this without 1.37+
Sometimes crashes even at this voltage. Shitty chip.

CPU: Xeon E5-1650 v1
Frequency: 4.6GHz
Vcore: 1.4 on turbo (0.86 idle)
Cooling Method: Cryorig R1
Idle: 47C
Load (Prime95): 85C

people who meme about the FX chips catching fire need to take a look at X79.

>mfw can't even hit 4.5 without hitting 1.4V

CPU: 3570k
Daily ghz: 3.7ghz
Voltage: idk I forget
Cooling method: stock cpu fan
Temps under idle and 100% load: like 75 normally and low 90's under load

im going to upgrade to r5 soon

silicon lottery looks down upon us

>Even when voltage is set to 1.368, it can go upto 1.414V at 4.4ghz

CPU: R5 1600X
Daily ghz: 3.975GHz

3.7Ghz isn't even an overclock, that chip turbos to 3.8.
