"fuck the jew cpu" for price

It's really fun to have a billion cores

Wait for ThreadRipper

I loev my Ryzen

Can someone give me a quick rundown on that "jew killer" guy?

Shits all over Intel's i5, i7 and i7-E CPUs.

>Direct descendants of the ancient runway model blood line

This is actually a pretty good succinct explanation.

I'll add, if you live in the wrong place the MSRP and reality have nothing to do with each other.

Probably the best line of desktop CPU's in the past 10 years.
Hopefully they can develop mobile procs with this type of perf/watt.

I'm in love with you.

Waiting for manchildren to post their gayming benchmarks.
Do it, faggots!

Good for people who don't like a new socket every year & 5% CPU revision gains.
>Good for people tired of spreading their cheeks for Jewtel

Still not better than intel

I'd show you compile times but they're at work.

thats my goy! give it to them goy!

vocaroo.com/i/s0pKwQ1LfWDH

Perfect but not for gayming.

...

r5 1600 literally best gaming CPU

More cores and shit. Not aimed for the average or gaymen consumer. Aimed for workstations.

Better for gaming than R7 cpus but still behind 7700k.

Maybe Zen+ would be better.

mebe i shud lower vcore

>AMD releases teaster info
>Sup Forums's wait™ team starts creating massive hype
>people are actually starting to believe the thing will destroy a 7700K, not to mention a 6950K in performance while costing half as much
>first benchmarks come out almost reiterating that
>release day
>first gaming benchmarks are out
>it's the old story again, gets beaten by sandy bridge processors
>BUT MAH WORKSTATION GPU
>things once again start looking really bad for Ryzen
>most people cancel their orders and get a 7700K because it demolishes all the Ryzens
>at this point the shills have nothing to post about because there's not a single shred of evidence that the Ryzen performs any better than an OC'd 2600K

>still behind 7700k.
Behind in framerate maybe, but it has two more cores to ensures it doesn't become a bottleneck in the following years like the i5 are right now, it doesn't need an expensive $170 mobo, it doesn't need a high end cooler and it doesn't require you to monitor temperatures as it doesn't have shitty TIM, and you have to pay $140 more for this as it's more expensive & doesn't come with a cooler
The 7700k may hit higher framerate but all the flaws it has completely tarnish that, there's no way that CPU is still viable 3 years from now on when it'll reach near 90% usage in any AAA game and heat a fuckton / stutter evne more as a result

R5 1600 literally best gaming CPU. 7700k best for high framerate.

I'm pretty sure that the voltage actually going to the core is lower than what is reported.

i set it to 1.35

Once again, as a NOW not the "future". 7700k is still better.

Once games begin to use more cores then Ryzen will shine, but didn't we hear the same story before? Sounds like Phenom 6 cores, Bulldozer. Yeap same story.

Anyways, I'll wait for Zen+ and see what they can offer.

Also you're ignoring the flaws of current Ryzen chips

>Motherboard issues
>Ram incompatibility
>GPU incompatibility causing lower frames than supposed to.

You don't need expensive mobo for 7700k, you can get a mAtx for $100-120 and buy a Evo or Cryorig Cooler

I wanna get that case but i already have 3 ssds and i plan on getting more

Are the other bays convertible?

I would like to see which ass you pulled those claims from Shlomo. Or are you just a paid shill?

>but didn't we hear the same story before?
p-people said the same thing in the past!
So what? i5s are already at their limit in AAAs, and have been for years. More cores is already shining, hence why any i5 is shit in comparison to the r5 1500x and R5 1600.
No, it's not the same situation at all, don't be stupid by saying it is.

>Also you're ignoring the flaws of current Ryzen chips
Yes, i also ignored the flaws of Intel chips like dead socket and such. The point was pointing out the flaws of the specific 7700k, not Intel overall.

>Motherboard issues
What motherboard issue? What does this have to do with Ryzen?
>Ram incompatibility
This is false. Harder overclocking does not mean incompatibility.
>GPU incompatibility causing lower frames than supposed to.
This is nothing exclusive to Ryzen. Happens whenever Nvidia + more cores, though it is highly dependent on the game. Has existed since years.

>Just don't overclock your ram even though Ryzen performs better with higher ram clock

Are we intel now

>things that i haven't said: the post

>Ram incompatibility
This is false. Harder overclocking does not mean incompatibility.

You need Samsung ram shit. AMD shills on full damage control

>You need Samsung ram shit.
Yes, if you want better overclocking
Are you stupid?

Ryzen is not great, but it kinda threatens intel's prosumer market.
It's obviously where they make the most margins with plebs.
So they're going the moar cores way too.
Knowing them, though, platform prices are gonna be fucking insane.
And it's all gonna be blown away by AMD's 16 core thing anyway.
It's all gonna end up being about pricing and power consumption.
Unless intel can pull some miracle, I don't see them beating Zen on this front, if they decide to keep their shit at 4Ghz.

Which it means less options for the consumer. Paying a higher price just so you can get higher clocks which it's pretty much a requirement for Ryzen since it performs better with it.

If Ryzen was a great cpu like every amd shill seems to orgasm about , it shouldn't have this problem in the first place.

they compare favorably to xeons.
go 1700 or 1600.

>Ram incompatibility
Literally had to return my ram because it would just not boot on my 1600x.

Gr8 b8 m8, I r8 it 8/8

Well i hope you waited some time for the post, specially if you have a cheaper mbo, otherwise you returned it for nothing

>you need decent RAM for better overclocking
OH DA HOOMANATEE!
I'd rather fucking delid my CPU!

>falling for unstable Ryzen hype meme
Should've waited for zen+

I waited 5 fucking minutes.
Now I got some samsung shit, so it werks.

started with some problems
still being developed
works with a lot of memory modules up to 4xxx speed nowdays
have less tdp in general
no games can make use of all the cores naturally

meanwhile on team blue
i9s on the recent leaks of sisoft sandra shows that
it has less cache
it has 2 more cores
it will be on a new socket (typical for intel)
and....
...
...
...
...
IT WILL HAVE 175W TDP HAHAHHAAHHAAHAH

Didn't you hear? Zen+ is probably getting skipped. Zen 2 already taped-out, serious possibility of 7nm Zen 2 on a process that clocks to the moon for NEXT YEAR, just in time to finish throwing Intel into the dumpster.

I was planning to do that, but my 3770k failed me.

Hopefully i won't have problems, getting a 3200 cl14 kit and from what I've found most of them are Samsung, lately even the hynix ones seem to work properly

>implying you even need to delid
Base clock 7700k outperforms Ryzen already.
Plus you don't need special snowflake ram to make it work.

SHUT UP

The 7700k has temp spikes though and doing simple tasks when it isn't even overclocked results in it heating up.

for some reason gaymes was paid to optimize for intel

...

>AMDrones actually belive this
vocaroo.com/i/s0pKwQ1LfWDH

How did U get the window offscreen like that? I thought VR was Intel only?

Well I got the GSkill Ripjaw V 3200Mhz cl14.
The one that didn't boot was cl16 and probably hynix double sided shit.
Doesn't reach 3200Mhz though. Hoping on AGESA 1.0.0.6 update will help.

Just buy a 6700k

>doesn't reach 3200mhz

Just don't overclock your ram, pal

lolno

yeap thats why intel came out and said

DONT OVERCLOCK THE UNLOCKED CPUS WE JUST SOLD FOR YOU

>literally couldn't boot because my motherboard decided to overclock my RAM on it's own
>ryzen so bad!!
You are making a fool of yourself

Curious what the TDP's gonna be on AMD's 16 core stuff.
Maybe it's time for some new cooling solutions.

That's the one I getting too(F4-3200C14D-16GVK)

What Mobo you have? I checked the qvl for the msi I'm getting and it looks supported

[No source]

Are you an idiot.
It just wouldn't boot.
When you first boot a system, it goes to the JEDEC spec, which is 2133Mhz.
I didn't overclock shit, it's just that the memory controller just wouldn't have any of this shit.

>communities.intel.com/thread/110728
It's pretty bad when Intel employees stop commenting 11 pages in. Or maybe they do comment in later pages but shit there is a lot of float time.

msi x370 sli+ or something.
Needed the x370 for crossfire rx480 and hopefully soon crossfire vega.

140-160 tdp probably maybe 200 that monster of 48c

hohohoh we found a real fuckin quite good goy over here

Don't buy shitty motherboards?

Interesting, because it says supported on their website

Did you try to fiddle around with the settings to reach 3200?

Hopefully they will fix it soon though

Just buy a 6700k

Well it's not great, but it does its job.
I don't plan to overclock shit, because that's what killed my previous config.

you should have bought the asrock taichi..

its currently the best am4 mobo so far...

while asus on the other hand is intel x99 kind of shit

Yeah, I tried ludicrously high latencies to no avail.
I think some timings are missing from the bios or some shit.
well 2933Mhz isn't too bad, and what most people get from what I've read.
MB are starting to pump out agesa 1.0.0.6 out there, and it seems to help.
Not happened yet for my MB.

I was looking for a relatively cheap replacement for my dead intel.
So I jewed on the MB.
It's ok though. I get less usb/sata ports, but it does what I want it to.

>blatant intelshills don't get banned
Really makes you think.

I hope zen2 is what sandy bridge was to nehalem.

Fine, fine FINE I guess you all insist on doing the same dance again.

Lol is funny because their website says only 1 3200 g.skill kit is supported, probably the worst out of them all, now either msi is BSing with their list or the guy didn't update his bios

Not to mention its not such an upgrade for the money

The 7700k is only better if the ONLY thing you care about is playing old DX11 games at 1080p at 120+hz

Oh yeah, that guy that got 3200 Memory working on release, while nobody else managed to do so.

>$490 1800x beats $1,000 6900k in every metric
It more than kinda threatens Intel's prosumer market.

Install Gentoo

I just disproved your baseless claim

No, games just benefit immensely for low latency for memory access.

Tasks which don't have to react immediately to user input perform well on Ryzen, sure.

But it's not a gaming CPU, unless you're willing to make compromises and need some workstation grunt as well.

Cheaper Ryzens are okay for budget rigs as well.

Sadly both brands having ups and downs depending on use has led to shit-flinging instead of something more constructive. Oh well.

...

>Reddit spacing...

...

Well the 1800x is still weak because pcie lanes.
It can be a big deal depending on your usage.
What really matters is intel's response.
Is it a new platform yet again?
How is it priced against the competition?
I'd say Intel has to pull a 8 core cpu@4Ghz for 600-650$, without exploding TDP.
I don't really see how they'd do that unless they split their cores like AMD did.

So that's why the i5s are obsolete.

>I don't really see how they'd do that unless they split their cores like AMD did
Just Wait™ for Intel's new architecture in 2021 lol

If you want more PCIe lanes you can wait for the Threadripper launch, as it should be priced competitively with the 6900k while offering more I/O and far more computing power.

It's too early to give an overall verdict on gaming on Ryzen, as DX12 performance cannot be fairly evaluated yet. Nvidia's DX12 drivers have conclusively been shown to bottleneck Ryzen CPUs so until Vega is released we cannot have a fair picture of how Ryzen will perform in DX12 gaming without a driver bottleneck.

Cheap Samsung E-die at 2133mhz can run at 3866 CL12.
Just run them at 3200mhz CL14 and you're good to go.

>1800x has higher clock ram than the 7700k

You dirty dog
