Seems like 1700X is actually pulling ahead in 1440p. Interesting.

corelets BTFO

I also wanna see min fps recorded. If it stutters avg fps means jack shit.

we know that ryzen min fps is above anything that 7700k had since day 1..

I don't care about either of them. I was just saying those benchmarks are stupid. Showing avg fps and saying HURR DURR it's better is flawed.

kek never gets old

and it's not even with the new AGESA 1006 which could squeeze a little more performance from the RAM.

You are correct and should feel correct

Basic benchmark stats should be max, min, 1% and 0.01%

Ryzens have been constantly getting better yes, but these benchmarks are useless. They're using a GTX970 to test shit in games where the GPU is the limiting factor, not the CPU. They're not testing the CPU, they're testing the GPU there and advertising it as a CPU bench. It's not.
I'm pretty sure the 7700k is still slightly ahead of the 1700x, regardless of what this bench says. And I say this as a 1600 owner.

>benchmarking with a 3.5gb meme card
>creating gpu bottlenecking on favour of amd

Come on now

>tests CPU in situations most people run(with a GPU bottleneck) instead of a synthetic CPU bottleneck nobody but CSGO pros run

Yeah, when I'm buying a 4k screen with Vega/1080ti/Volta and a threadripper, I'm not gonna look at 1080p benchmarks

I didn't say that either. But there's no point in testing using a 970. There's 1080ti available to test on, and that would be a much more representative bench of what the actual performance of the CPU in games would be. What they did amounts to nothing.

For what it's worth, I still think the 7700k is a shit choice for anyone, even for your CSGO pros running everything on absolute minimum. R7s and even R5s give you much more than the 7700k does, and the extra 10 FPS aren't going to change anything when you're already running over 300 at all times.

except the 7700k is cheaper, while being the premium product.

Nevermind u can't put a price on the popularity boost going intel gives ya with the ladies or in a business scenario

There's plenty point, it's the most popular GPU and even with a GPU bottleneck there's a clear difference in performance between the 7700k and 1700k.

Most games are GPU bottlenecked, there's like 4 games that are CPU bottlenecked, what is the bigger market?

intel won again

not letting you get away with this :^)

hay user you don't really have an amd cpu do you?

Intel is fucked lol

...

Which one's the best deal? Is there a significant difference between B350 and X370?

...

Literally 10 dollars of difference and the i7 only has its single core performance going for it, something that you won't need unless you emulate console videogames. I'm literally one of those and even then I can perfectly see the advantages that Ryzen has right now.
