RSS feeds to be precise. I post it in Sup Forums because I assume most of you here share my dilemma: You want to see what's new in the world. Oh. Trump made a typo on twitter. Okay, lets check news in science. "Quitting the Paris accord leaves no cure for climate change". Oh. Well lets check news in gaming. "Overwatch players hate losing, Jeff Kaplan says". Oh.
You see my issue. Where do you find news without filler? I'm getting very close to just aggregating a bunch of sources and filtering out keywords.
To be completely honest I usually just skim Sup Forums & Sup Forums for the news, then if I see something interesting I google it to find out if it is true.

The issue is, I'm making a sort of "wakeup" script. Says time, date, calendar events, the such. I need a consistent, replicatable and programmable approach.
I run a script that's scraping google scholar and scanning for keywords and authors.
