How much is google paying this website to keep shit captcha?

How much is google paying this website to keep shit captcha?

They're not.
You're no longer allowed to get a new API key for 1.0 textual recaptchas.
We're grandfathered in and they're kept around because this way you can post without using a mouse, and they're not even the default, you have to select it from the native extension settings.

Google's going to pull the plug any day now and people will be throwing a fit left and and right on this board because they can no longer post without tracing street signs with the mouse.

>normie posting

Google's captcha is fucking shit. It's bad enough that you have to trace some damn thing or click a box, wait for fade out/in, then click another box endlessly.

The worst part is that IT DOESN'T FUCKING WORK. Google demands a wrong answer at least 50% of the time.

I've come to fucking hate Google.

what captcha

>Not using legacy
Are you disabled or something user?

.n-pu {
display: none
}

>Introducing Google NOCaptcha!
>You won't even need to do any tests anymore!
>99.999% accuracy at knowing if you're a bot or not!
>100% after the first test!
I think I've had a 1% rate of no captcha, fucking niggers.

Imagine world where everybody is nice person so you dont need to implement capcha not because people dont know how to abuse it, but because they dont want to just mindllesly destroy things.

Screw you frogposters! You are the reason capcha exists!

I'm sure it works perfectly. These assholes just pretend it doesn't work so you have to fill in another one.

We're all working for google

By actually doing the captchas

Unpaid work, thanks Google!

That's what half of the posts on Sup Forums looked like before captcha was introduced. Sup Forums should be thankful that google provides this service.

I kind of miss fucking with that Web site as its admin raged.

>newfag spotted
It was never that bad, even at its worst point of robot posting, the most that happened was that image dumping threads died and you couldn't wiki spam + sage a shit thread to oblivion.

What's stopping Sup Forums from rolling out its own tex captcha?

>It was never that bad
save image as Sup Forums.hta and open to shit bricks

ability

willingness, and because they want the google captchas, it's not like the owner is against it

captcha: calle calle

>legacy gone
>google makes a nu-captcha that looks at your browsing history and the social media accounts your browser is logged into
>every privacy conscious user is suddenly flagged as a bot for not having these
>only cancer and pass fags posting forever more

Zero dollars. The reason it sucks is probably because the captcha is intended for once-in-a-while type forms like signing up for an account, rather than for a site where you need to compete a captcha for every post and you can make hundreds of posts daily.

jesus christ I feel fucking old

Just buy a Sup Forums pass goys.

FUCKED UP

ok?

yea, he totally did
he even deleted your fuckup to hide it from others

No, ad bots ruined it. You must not have been here before the captcha.

ISHYGDDT

I don't really remember stuff like this because even when I was young I wasn't stupid enough to fall for it?

I remember a lot of kimmo spam though.

Just disable javascript nigger. Why do you even have it enabled to begin with.

Can I use legacy captcha in Clover? I can't find it in the settings.

You ever wonder how many captchas were solved on Sup Forums?

There are roughly 200K people on Sup Forums at any given time. There's around 1M post per day. If 95% of them are captcha solvers, that's 950K per day. Moot implemented captcha around mid 2010. So about 7 years of captcha solving. 950K*365*7 = 2,427,250,000. 2.4 Billion captcha solved by Sup Forums.

Newfag detected.

Sup Forums was awesome and it felt like everything was being posted in real time when we had no captcha.

It was a sense of freedom you could never imagine.

Cornelia wasn't even that bad.

Accelspammer after the no captcha days on Sup Forums were over was more annoying to deal with than Cornelia.

I miss noscript captcha

still works but with text

>Google tries to make AI for piloting cars
>AI turns out to be hard, so they just pipe images to Sup Forums captcha instead
Basically exactly what's happening.

>Sup Forums captcha pranks 2010: Putting nigger in books
>Sup Forums captcha pranks 2017: Driving cars into groups of children

I always wonder if this couldn't have just been solved with some bayesian filtering scheme. My email client can obviously tell this garbage apart from normal English, there's no technical reason nothing else could.

That's not Cornelia, it's the Finnish sperglord's pet botnet.

lol
now I miss kimmo

When there's a reflection of a street sign in a mirror

The nigger thing kinda doesn't work on statistical analysis.

However in the minds of kids/uneducated people, it seems like a good trick.

Images was the best because all I had to do was use the numberpad to select.
I never got the text version to work.

id be willing to bet Sup Forums solves more captchas than any other website.

>mfw calle calle
>mfw I spent 40 minutes clicking to get it
>mfw my life is pointless

The captcha expected a good amount of bad data, so if you could get most of the entries for a text sample to be nigger, then the system would discard the actually valid inputs. It's a small chance, but it's possible. I'm sure Google immediately ensured dumbass inputs weren't factored in pretty quickly though.

Thats almost a guarantee.

I don't recall other large websites using captcha on the scale Sup Forums is.

>You only get to use NoCaptcha if you agree to be part of the botnet
>After several posts they think you are a bot and make you do manual again anyhow

Fuck them!

y tho

Its telling you to go outside to the streets.

What do you think the word "calle" means? Why not google search that and think.

just buy a gold pass goy, what are you poor LMAO

Actually you can use your finger. You don't need a mouse genius

You seem to have mixed up Sup Forums and muslims

The muslims are on Sup Forums ranting about degeneracy, getting tricked by jews, and praising saudia arabia's greatest friend the godemperor.

I hardly ever have to do anything but click the I'm not a robot button. Are you guys sure you're not robots?

>Google's going to pull the plug any day now
>mfw soon I'll be free of this shithole

it was that fucking fsggot kimmo and anontalk

Is this a new captcha being tested or it's just me seeing it for the first time

Is Kimmo dead yet?

What they should really do is have you solve a captcha then let your IP be good for 10 posts, then solve another one- that would keep out bots and spammers. Only people who are posting from shared IPs or IPs that have spammed before should even be approaching one solve per post

there is no logical reason to make you solve 2-3 per post

testing

Hiroshima is only keeping them around to inconvenience you and get you to fork over the shekels for a gold account.
You really think there are no ways to fight bot spam?

it was a fuckhuge problem before the capchas

Because luggage lad aka cuck a duck is a retard.
Besides that was in like fucking 2007. It's current year right now.

If that was the case he wouldn't allow legacy captcha

It only became bad when retards started saving those image files and changing the file format.

>tfw we are using a botnet anonymously

YEs goi let's keep your ip on file

He got hired because of their gender diversity program.

Who the fuck is (((moot)))
>Signing into the botnet

Been around for half a year, give or take a few weeks

surely there must be another way to control spam

Do you clear cookies? Do you use other anti-tracking measurements? No? Then you're doing it wrong.

jp was good back then

newfags dont know how to nigger captchas

daily reminder that moot implemented captcha as a """"""""""""temporary"""""""""" measure because of that shithead's unrelenting anontalk spam
>temporary
>literally 10 years later and a new moot
>still captcha
