My EC1 CL had problems with the coating flaking off, and it was too heavy.

I have a Realforce, GPro and Zowie G-SR mousepad. I'd prefer a slightly lighter mouse with no sidebuttons, but otherwise I am 90% of the way to input-nirvana.

i have two of the blue montereys and this one with the clone white alps. Honestly i prefer the clones. They're just a tad bit tighter than normal white alps but it makes them feel really nice.

Because the gateway rubber dome keyboard I got for free from a computer repair store works just fine.

I have tried mechanical keyboards. I've owned and used a Dell AT-101W until the ctrl key started going out. I used my roommates og HHK in college. I've used buckling spring keyboards. All pretty nice.

But also pointless. I type just as fast and accurately on this POS and with less noise and it's actually slightly easier on my wrists over time.

I still haven't. It's okay though, I'm actually going to buy a deathadder.
i hate razer. I go out of my way to bust the balls of kids in my college, I'm 24 they're 17-19, with razer products. Little did I know iit's exactly what I was looking for though. That's the perfect shape for the way I grip my mouse.
I use a light palm grip usually but when I'm stressed or tired it slowly devolves innto a claw grip. The deathadder is the most comfortable mouse I have held thus far.
I was being retarded and looking at just the height of the mouse, the g402 and ec2 are both the same and the tallest in that regard but what really matters is the tallest point of the mouse in relation to the shortest point.

It's not about function. Of course all keyboards input text. If you don't believe that a blue switch is more enjoyable to type on than a membrane you are simply out of your mind.

Make sure to get the DA Elite though, all the other da's have chronics issues, like scroll wheel breaking, defective switches etc..

I use a MX Master and HHKB keyboard. Not like mice matter much though, must of my interaction is done through the keyboard.
I really don't get the fetishization over mice here. I don't give a shit about DPI when I'm proramming.

Anything over 100 grams is considered heavy. If you don't play on low sensitivity or make large swipes, then it's fine.
