G502

Is this thing actually good or is it just a meme?

it costs a lot must be good

>is x a meme?

kys

yes.
But unless you are a poorfag get the G900 instead

I have one. I like it but I'd kind of rather have gotten the G900.

What's the difference other than one being wireless?

It got nice button placement features, buy lower verision is better since it is lighter get g303 same sensor..

It's just better dude
google it yourself

Well it's not entirely wireless. The G900 can be used wired or wireless the main thing it brags about is having the best wireless connection.

The tracking is supposed to be better and the design is ambidextrous.

It has fewer buttons and the button placement seems a tad awkward though but that could be different when you actually use it.

got it on sale for cheap, Like the number of buttons it has comes in handy when lazily browsing with mouse.
I use the extra 3 buttons to open/close/cycle tabs. The free spinning mouse wheel is fun, but horrible for scrolling either too fast or too slow when unlocked/locked and just doesn't feel right.
For gaming the sensor is pretty good don't really use the extra buttons as much as I thought I would though.
The braided cable is just ass they should have stuck with rubber only, the whole thing coils up and has a fair amount of resistance which is annoying. It ended up ripping a few months in exposing the rubber anyway.

All it had a good amount of features for the price I got it but I wouldn't buy one full priced.

meme. it's terrible. bad shape, bad button placement, bad weight, good sensor. Since it originally launched, Logitech has released more products with the same sensor

If you’re a pansy you might think it’s too heavy.

I like it. I later bought a G900 to "upgrade" but went back to the G502 due to it being comfier and better

I found one used for $40 should I bite the bullet or should I buy one new?

It's only been used for like a year and it's in perfect condition

I bought one after my G9x broke, the G502 is just trash compared to the G9x, It's too large and claw gripping is just pure ass on it, Linus mentioned that it's a worthy successor, but it's not.

Lurked ebay to buy another G9x 4 months later.

In my opinion it's part of the trifecta of G502, G700s, and G900.

G502:
>has a great sensor
>is the cheapest
>has fewer buttons with meme placements
>I personally think it has the worst shape of the three (though that doesn't mean it's bad, just the others are better in this regard)
>does not have wireless mode

G700s:
>has the best buttons of the three (both in quantity and placement)
>meh sensor (not shit-tier - it's definitely usable - but not top-tier)
>in my opinion the best shape of the three
>the sensor is almost under the fingertips
>laughable battery life - it's great for taking it out for the day, but you will simply not be able to use it as permanently wireless with occasional recharging since the battery actually lasts like a day or two
>it's quite heavy - I used one for three years, and now I'm using the G502 and it feels like a feather, and then I see people complaining that the G502 is too heavy

G900:
>excellent sensor
>people say the meme mechanical buttons are actually great
>you can post pictures of it on mouse threads
>meme buttons - marketed as having a bunch, but it's """ambidextrous""" so if you want to use all the buttons, two are going to be pinky buttons, enjoy
>G502-tier shape, though I haven't tried it personally - and from photos it looks like it might be slightly comfier (but the user above me says the opposite)
>overpriced as fuck

All the mice have logitech build quality, top-tier logitech scroll wheels with free scrolling (I can't fucking use anything without it anymore), at least decent sensors (though if that's your priority don't get the G700s), and are generally top-tier mice.

Its a mouse for handlets
Seriously it is only good for tiny Asian LoL/SC player hands
If you can try out the mouse if its on display at best buy or somewhere else. I bought a mionix naos 7000 instead since both were denied locally

Guy above, the G900 feels too light and is missing the nice place to put your thumb so you can really grab the mouse for intense gaming

It's not like it's so bad it's not usable but mine also has tracking issues sometimes which is the main reason I went back to G502

Unless you have a fetish for 120g+ mice or really need the extra buttons, the g502 gets outclassed by the g403 and g900, still a good mouse though.

Thanks! I think I'll go with the G502, and if I don't like it I suppose I can always just sell/return it.

What keyboard are you using btw?

and I'm by no means a super pro player but as you can see I average about 40% LG accuracy in quake so I can tell a shit mouse from a decent one at least

Corsair K70 (not RGB, just red lightz)

Already got mine replaced and the replacements broke too, as in the button to release the scroll wheel so it can freespin just stops working, happened on two different ones so it's obviously a design problem, rip my sweet ez bhops

>mine also has tracking issues sometimes
It's supposed to be the best sensor on the market though. Have you considered RMA?

For got to mention:

G900:
>includes nice dust and grime storage compartments

Also, when I got my first G502, the wheel tilt was so sensitive middle-clicking was an art, and one I was bad at. I got it replaced and now it's much more reasonable. I personally still prefer the G700s's wheel - it just feels a lot more solid. It's also heavier, like the rest of the mouse I guess.

I have that same exact keyboard except mine is filthier.

I bought a g602 and it was lagging like ass and stuttering, returned and got a g502 instead, very glad I did. Wired are still superior.

Worth to upgrade from a G400?

No, it's just that the G602 is ass. Get a real wired mouse, like a G403, G700s, or G900.

-year
-perfect condition
>Retard

>real wired mouse
Meant wireless obviously

Who are you quoting?

Also there's literally nothing wrong with the mouse. Imma snag that because it seems like a steal

level 140 in BF4
Best mouse I ever used

Thank you for this input.

I noticed the G900 looks a bit larger though is that true?

My hands are a little bit bigger than I thought and the G502 never really feels to be the right size.

I have it. I had a Deathadder for the longest time, but something about the 502 made me switch. It's cool, hasn't given me any issues yet.

It was supposed to be the successor to my beloved G9 and so far it's been great.

It's much more heavy than the G9 and you can't claw grip it. I didn't like it at first, but I was too lazy to go back to return it so I adapted and now it's pretty comfy.

The clicky/freescroll is what made me get it as you can switch the modes on top rather than the bottom like the G9. Works amazingly.

Sniper button is a meme and I've never used it.

The rest of the buttons are nicely postitioned and easy to feel.

It's not wireless.

The g403 is better

G Pro still gives pleasure to me

Non meme answer: Great mouse, just heavy. If it fits your hand shape and you don't play any fps games regularly, get it.

check yourselves plebs
GOAT logitech mouse passing through

>not posting the actual GOAT mouse

>HAY GUIS I CAN BE A ROCKET SHIP TO
>FWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH

i have it but i only use the 2 of the 3 buttons on the side of the mouse, the third button and the 2 buttons on the left mouse button aren't all that convenient

G500s is better.

These new Logitech mice look like ricer shit.

I have a g602 and it's amazing. Love the 6 side buttons and the tremendous battery life. I would've got either the g502 or 900 at the right price. 602 was $40. I'd buy the 502 @$40 or the 900@$70

Good sensor, nice buttons placement. Hyper fast scroll wheel is pure gold.

Only bad thing is lack of ring and pinky support. But if you could find the way, It's a great mouse.

I bought one to replace a G400 and it was shit.

The shape is too flat, it's too heavy, the mouse wheel is shit and it looks retarded. Ended up just repairing my G400, shit is worth billions ebay right now because they are discontinued.

This
Switched from a cheap mouse to the G502 and its so much better. Build quality is incredible, the mouse wheel feels so good.
But god damn, no pinky support for my large hands!

I use the g pro. I don't like all the bells and whistles, a nice mouse should track well and have good switches and wheel

What's a good mouse for people with large hands? I kinda feel the need for a wider mouse.

Mionix Naos 7000 if you're into palm grip.

All the fags recommending it here are trying to justify their purchases, I had one, first of all it's gimmicky gaymurr design is shit, secondly it's heavy as fuck, I bought a g403 after it (which was cheaper too) and I'm much more satisfied, no gimmicks, simple great design that resembles a zowie, great sensor, light.

Sound like you're trying to justify your purchase, that G403.

mine started double clicking and its no longer sold in my area

how does it compare to g203?

Nice justification faggot if you wanted light non gimick design you would gotten g303 or 201

Buy G403 if you palm the mouse. If not, buy G900.

I still have both niggers, I severely prefer the g403.

I actually wish the 403 was heavier, the wireless is a great weight but I prefer wired. thinking they should give more weight options, like a 10 and 20 gram. but I agree the design is superior

good if you have girly hands

Except for the sensor.

I just took a look and the G500s really looks better in ever way, but it has a meh-tier sensor for whatever reason.

just get 403

is goood

Why did Logitech fall out of making MMO mouses altogether? The G600 had easily the best performance for the price.
