What's the fidget spinner of programming languages?

What's the fidget spinner of programming languages?

NODE DOT JS

nah Node.js is the tangled fishing line of programming languages.

Node.js

...

deep

Brainfuck

Assembly.

Try it.

ruby

Are you looking for a language to reduce stress, or one that autistic retards play with while accomplishing nothing?

Not sure.

unlike node.js fidget spinner actually works

Jquery

That sounds a lot like Linux

>ebin

dont, this shit can wreck your processor.

Python
/thread

>mature language used by scientists is the equivalent of the latest useless cash-grab trend

functional programming?

Javascript

Ruby

I want to say Rust, but it's really Node.js

C++

>python used by scientists
If you want speed use c++, if you want abstraction use java. If you are mentally challanged, use python

He has a point. Python is used by people who can't program (which includes scientists) because you can literally paste pseudocode and it will work.
That doesn't mean its a good language though

Kotlin

Don't you ever insult my language like that ever again

C

>If you want speed use c++, if you want abstraction use java.
what if you don't want either of the two?
> If you are mentally challanged, use python
yet python is used by scientists and mathematicians i.e. people smarter than you

They use python because its easy

Programmers use real languages because they need to do more than a fizzbuzz

Javascript is much better than "your language"

[insert GNU+Linux copypasta]

more like a hand carved wooden yoyo tbqh
placing my vote on Processing
you gotta be pretty autismo to use that

>fidget spinner
i have no idea what this is. but i have already seen jokes about jokes about these spinners and basically overnight it was everywhere.
could someone enlighten me?

Ruby

It was made for people with ADHD

The Jews are cashing in on autism generated by whites not race mixing enough to keep genes good.

Now be a good goy and buy your child a fidget spinner and give your wife a "refugee".

Rust

Guerilla marketing

i got so fucking good at fixing backlashes, its a shame people dont pay me to fix their backlashes. the one in that pic i could probably fix in like 3 minutes without cutting the line

>Muh "HTML" normalfags brag about

>race mixing is a jewish ploy to sell more processors
I believe it

Python

Either python(/ruby) or rust.
Fucking debate me right now

>Python
>mature language
also
>scientists
>not throw-away garbage
also
>scientists
>standard for language quality

reeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

SO TRUE, WEHN WIL PEOPEL WAKE UP

>If you want boilerplate use c++
FTFY

The time I save doing import is significantly larger than the time I would spend writing it in another language

> If you are mentally challanged, use python
> challanged

The time I would save by running in a faster language*

what the fuck do you mister programs satellites in assembly do that is so real

Fidget spinner would be more like electron.
Doesn't do anything itself and nu-males like it.

very profound
my almonds have been activated

>Python
Nope.

>Node.js
Nope.

>Rust
Nope, though it's close.

>Haskell
Ding ding ding, we have a winner!

Ball Bearing Assembly.

Angular

Bet you can't run 100m without breaking down, nerd.

Minecraft Redstone

Scratch

SECOND that.

Processing

How do people think that Node.JS is a programming language? Does the .JS not tip them off that it's still fucking JavaScript, and the Node part is just a runtime and library for server-side usage?

It's also decent for prototyping, but there's a slippery slope somewhere that leads from prototyping to having an entire project in it.

>tfw switching from electron prototype to C++ rewrite made it 100 times better
100 times less CPU, 100 times less memory, 100 times less disk space

>see new "multi platform" project be released
>oh cool
>lots of features
>looks pretty damn decent
>built on electron
>into the trash
Why do people use this shit? It's a massive performance hog for no apparent reason.

Why does Electron sound strangely familiar to simply including a browser in the application?

>Why do people use this shit?

The idea of one codebase for your web, Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android apps is pretty attractive.

oh boy, here we go

10/10 kek

Haskell

Lisp

Really makes me think

Most people consider javascript to be something you use to interact with the DOM in a webpage.

node.js is used for applications programming with a completely separate standard library, it's practically another language.

So what you're saying is people don't know what a programming language is?

...

Mathematics.

Yes, I would like to know more about the game engine you wrote in C++.

Kindest regards
Bill
