Battery life shouldn't be an issue. Since it hardly does much in the background unlike gapps.
Most of the common google services/apps work with it (YouTube, Maps, etc.) There's a list of compatible apps on the wiki.
There is one caveat, though. You'll need a ROM that supports signature faking.
seems alright. supposedly close to stock. specs are a little low for the price, but the build quality is supposedly better than the usual in the price range, so it balances out. depends on your priorities

There are third party adblockers that work with Safari. I use 1blocker, it works pretty well but you can pay to unlock more features besides just ad blocking. Annoying thing is that it doesn't work in apps, I could really use it in the Google App.
But hey you don't have to root and you can still use Apple pay and block ads, so there's that.
Low specs, but should be decent considering it will be mostly stock Android. A Samsung with the same specs would lag horribly, but as long as you're not planning on doing too many heavy duty things with your phone the Nokia should be fine. 2GB of RAM is a little paltry in 2017 though.
If you're looking for something with stock Android you should look into Nokia, Nexus, and Pixel phones. Something like Samsung's interface would probably be quite a shock if you're used to stock Android, lots of useless "features".

OK so a phone is not like a computer? Microsoft can't ban games from being played on windows. Can you not download a game or app from some place other than the app store? like the maker's website then play it on your phone?

I have just been told that Apple does not allow apps and games it thinks are "offensive" for SJW reasons in the app store and thus you can never get them on your iphone? Is this true? Why is this not discussed in smartphone general more often? How is this not a huge deal? Why would anyone buy an iphone if you can't install any software you want?

I have read several of these threads and never heard anyone mention that Apple prevents you from installing apps and games it does not like for reasons such as being "inappropriate"

LG G4 is even worse, pretty much guaranteed bootloop, QuadHD screen is definitely great looking but it'll eat up your battery super quick so pretty much absolutely avoid the G4 and G5 aswell, G6 seems pretty safe so far Again, consider the Moto G5 Plus, it's pretty budget specs but it shouldn't be much of an issue unless you play intense 3D games or such. It's fairly cheap on Amazon if you have Prime, $189 for the 32gb/2gbRAM version with Amazon ads check out the Moto G4 aswell which is a bit cheaper on ebay but still pretty good
