you fell for the 3GB RAM meme.

You should know by now that you'll never need more than 512MB RAM

It's actually 2.5gb,that pc had 512mb and I added 2gb to it.

my first "gaming" pc

Looks good, I would add an ssd in the future.

well

W520?

My first build... I work so hard to make this possible and I think is a pretty decent desktop pc...

X220 master race reporting in

Is this the unnecessarily large fullscreen edition?

I was too lazy to crop the screen shot and just did the classic print screen and copy and paste into ms paint.

Now this is my computer but upgrading to i5 6600k and gtx 1060 6gb. Current computer can handle games but its little bit old by now :) time for upgrade. Also this can stay for graphics and programming but for new games i think not...

SPECCY UPDATE FOR RYZEN AND DDR4 RAM WHEN??????????????????????

Well peoples tell them on forum i guess you will need to wait. But its wierd they still did not update it.

All parts were bought used/super cheap
Been fine so far

also ignore that temp on the cpu, it's off

I think its good for budget pc, are you using it for work or games too ?

I want 7600k but i decide 6600k cause win10 only updates and im not gonna update for w10 :D but still its very good. Are you planning i7 for future or you are just stay with i5 and put everything in games ?

My aging desktop.

How much do you even mine?

The point of it was something cheap for gaming that would last a year or two, use my laptop for school/work. Only game I've really had trouble with is Battlefield 1 + F13th around some of the lighting effects

I think the entire thing was in the $250-$300 mark for the parts + case + psu, then like another $170ish for monitor and peripherals
