I remember a while ago I tried drawing some things and I thought it was good. Then I posted it on Sup Forums and it turns out it was not at all good. It legitimately made me feel bad, but like, that's just the Sup Forums way I guess, if something isn't legitimately good there's no point in defending it, one should stick to one's own field and perfect something there instead of being all around mediocre
The point is I guess that drawing is hard and I'll never be able to because I have my own skills to focus on but I really wish I could draw still
In the same vein, I really wish I had more than one life to live, everything I ever experience will be from my own perspective, I will never be able to have the true perspective of someone radically different than me, some tribal or what the fuck ever, I don't know.

My ex was really really bad at drawing and now he even has his own tattoo parlour. Something that helped me was looking at books from people like Andrew Loomis, they show you how to make sense of the figure, light, colour etc. Once you have the basis you'll just get better and better. It might not seem like it but it definitely happens. If you like doing it, you should keep at it.
