Xiaomi Mi Max 32gb 3gb VS Redmi note 4x 64gb 4gb

If both are the exact same price, which would win?:

Global Rule 6

Same fag

Redmi Note 4 Global would win

Obviously, it goes without saying that 2 people couldn't be laughing at you.
It's such an obvious samefag I'm not sure why you even waste time replying.

Retard here

What's the difference between the S8 and the S8+?

The +

Lenovo P2 for £210 bongaroos or Moto G5 Plus for £250 bongaroos?

P2 has a much better (AMOLED) display and a significantly bigger (better) battery

Isn't the Moto G5 Plus that's sold over there the cucked 2gb RAM version? If it is I'd take P2

Size. Both have phablet sized screens, but the regular S8 is closer to the S7 in size. IIRC both have the same hardware and bloated software and bloatware bixby button.

Is Lineage the most battery-friendly AOSP-based ROM? Or is there a better one in that regard?

both are 3GB RAM versions. Thanks for the input. Will probably get the P2.

There's so many factors that affect the battery life that it isn't really possible to answer that. If you want good battery life just don't install Gapps

The S8+ also has a larger capacity battery than the regular S8 so it gets slightly better battery life

Snapdragon 835 (or equivalent), 6+GB RAM, OLED, $300-$500 range phone when?

OnePlus 5

OnePlus 5 is going to be like $550-$600 though right?

I think $515 for the 6gb model, not 100% tho

I feel like OnePlus is abandoning the whole low price thing

>6+GB RAM
literally why, android cannot even properly utilise +4GB RAM, anything over that is just a marketing gimmick to get pajeets and chinks to buy your phone

Sad, really. Other chinkshit is not reliable.

Guys I need your advise
Chilean poorfag here. So after looking a good phone for a fair price I ended up with the Mi5s plus. Good battery life, has good audio, fast charging, more than fast for its price, I don't give a fuck about the camera, no problem with the bands, so pretty much pic related. But desu with you I don't know much about smartphones so thats why I am here. Whats your opinion about it? should I go for it?

Indonesian here, is there a way to get ZTE MAX XL unlocked fro $99 ?

Regular Mi5s is better

what is the max you will pay for OP5?

>comparing 32 GB version with 64 GB version
I lilke Miku, but obviously 64 GB is better, you need more space for your app, music and porn.

What's a 200 euro buck worthy successor for a Galaxy S4 that can be lineaged?

250 USD
Yeah 99.999999% I won't buy it.
And I loved OnePlus a few years ago.

Redmi Note 4 Global

Best place to buy is still gear best?

elaborate pls

Yup, use the coupon XIAOMIK to get it for 127€
gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_620903.html

It was already outdated yesterday.

It's working again, tried it just 5min ago

devicespecifications.com/en/comparison/722e91ad9
So as far as I can see it, the differences are minimal, I mean hell whats the difference between all that shit if I will just use the phone for music, storage my staffs and maybe use the thing to modify PDFs and power point's presentations?
The Mi5s plus cost $100 more, so if with the MI5s I get almost the same, am sold.
Mi5s also support lineage OS:
lineageosrom.com/2017/01/download-lineage-os-for-xiaomi-mi5s.html
I read a lot about it here but I don't know what it is, I assume is a good thing, plus if I can go botnet free I'll do some research about it.
Again, an opinion of you guys is always welcome.

What about the 4gb RAM 64gb ROM optional?

1GB more RAM won't really make a noticeable improvement, double the storage is nice but as you have expandable storage 32gb isn't bad either

then again the price difference is only about $30, so either way it's not a huge difference

Quick question: honor 8 vs Iphone SE?
I love iphone's design and build quality, I prefer android (but I like using ios too) and i am afraid 4' screen might be too small.

US, at&t, looking to spend 300-450 on a ~5 inch phone that will last me a few years. Thoughts on the zte axon 7 or moto g5 plus? Anything else more compelling?

is the huawei mate 9 really good for $380 + tax refurb? I have a $375 gift card for best buy right now and the camera and battery looks really good. I'm using a galaxy s4 right now

Honor 8. 4" is too small for most people

What's do use your phone for?

Great phone, pretty huge though

burger. verison probably, which ever has the best "unlimited data" or whatever that means today. needs to be the best flagship with easily removable battery and with memory expansion slot (SD card or whatever), 1080p is great (anything better is fine), $1000 budget (for the sake of this research). any sizes are acceptable

Light use mostly, browsing the internet, listening to music/podcasts, etc. No games.

Honestly even a $100 phone will handle use that just fine so it's really down to your preferences. 5.5" vs 5.2", amoled vs LCD etc. With your budget I'd be also looking at Moto Z Play and Honor 8. Any of those phones will easily last a few years.

LG G5 and V20 are literally the only flagship phones that still have removable batteries

Anyone use crDroid?

How do you like it?

Get the V20

ok cool thanks! which one would you pick of the two?

I have my Moto G4 that I no longer use -- what do I do with it?
It works well (I actually kind of miss it most of the time), is there something that I can use it for?

I have never rooted anything (currently use an iphone 6), is rooting a phone useful, and could i use it as a truly mobile set up, beyond a tablet? Like really a mini computer?

oh ok

V20, the G5 was a flop

factory reset it and sell it

G6 any good?

Yes

Thanks.
I assume with any of these phones if I want security patches/updates I'll want to flash lineageos?

Lots of people use their old phones as separate media players. Particularly useful if you have an old phone with a good DAC in it - shove a big microSD card in it and you're good to go. There are tech sites online with huge lists of uses for secondary phones.

Rooting can be incredibly useful depending on what you want to do. Too many uses to list but, basically, it gives you complete, total control of your device. If you really are interested in doing it then you're lucky you want to do it on a Moto G4; Motorola is a total bro company and outright HELPS you unlock the bootloader, one of the main steps of rooting. Samsung doesn't do that.

Any reason to get it over an axon 7 other than the price?

All those phones are still new enough for the manufacturer to be releasing updates for them. You only need to flash LineageOS or another custom once the official support is over.

If installing a custom ROM is something you're interested in doing in the future I'd forget the Honor 8, it uses Huawei's in-house Kirin SoC which means it gets less ROMs developed for it.

Better cameras and water resistance

Buying a G6 then

Opinions on the Axon 7? Anything better for the same price? ($370 on Amazon)

Op5 release date when

It's a great phone, can't go wrong with it

20th of this month

Flashed it on my Nexus 7 and couldn't get Titanium to work for whatever reason so I just went back to Resurrection Remix since it's been supported still

What's objectively the best phone and why is it the iPhone SE?

Fuck bezels, we Edge now. Only cost me $284US.

>20th of this month
ARE U SURE?

ARE YOU?

BECAUSE I NEED A NEW PHONE BEFORE THE 25TH

I need a keyboard for my Android tablet. I'd like something small like the DiNovo Mini, but 1) it's expensive, and 2) it doesn't exist in stores anymore.

Anyone have any experience with similarly small keyboards ? What would you recommend ?

opo screen cracked and touch no longer works. Worth replacing it? Its a solid fucking phone

Better make sure you know what the fuck you're doing, in slip and you've fucked something on the motherboard like the ribbon connectors or the antenna posts

Was thinking of getting the Nubia z17 opinions?

So does the G6 bootloop yet

My phone is dying (Z730)
>keeps saying I have unauthorized software so phone is locked
>so have to reset it like 7 times
>unplug earbuds and phone restarts
>some apps don't open, requiring to reset 7 times as mentioned above
so someone recommend me one for around $60, I'm in the US and my provider is Metro PCS but can I just transfer my sim card to a new phone without having someone from MetroPCS to activate it? Also I main just browse Sup Forums, want gallery and play music to not shit it self, conserve battery when not using it and that's basically all I'm looking for in a phone.

Unfortunately metroPCS is one of the only carriers that requires new phones to be activated by them even if the SIM is the same.

>best everything
>but also the cheapest
just get a broken s8 lol

I'm planning on getting the Samsung J3 Prime (SM-J327T) anything I should know about it before getting it?

Should I get 4g on my phone even if my phone doesn't support band20-800MHz. It supports band3-1800MHz and band7-2600MHz tho.

you can't go to shop and see for yourself which one will fit you?

Someone educate me on microSD cards. Are 80/95/whatever MB/s read/write speeds just a marketing meme and should I just buy the cheapest class 10 card and shut the fuck up or is there more to it?

Yes, you'll still get 4G but your coverage might be worse

Depends on what you're going to put on it
