love it, but it needs an update

Proprietary botnet

(How) can I make it take me to a file or variable initialization location with ctrl + left_click (c++ and Java), like eclipse?

what version are you on?

...

vscode and vim exist

>vscode

Enjoy that cursor blink

anyone have a register code for sublime 3?

Does CIA's sublime text key still work?

enjoy your dead non-free software

why is sublime 3 still in beta?....is it even being worked on anymore? fuck it i might VScode, i just dont like all the github shit they throw in the UI. I don't fucking use all that shit

What's the point in using an editor which you can't use in a terminal and ssh?

"git.enabled": false,

The last build was today
I've paid $0
idgaf about stallman or libre-shit

Enjoy your rebranded Atom.

>The last build was today
good, but it may be the last and nobody would be able to do shit unless the author frees it

>I've paid $0
either you're getting a retarded nag screen or you've pirated it. neither is really something to be happy about

>Enjoy your rebranded Atom.
do you know what that word means? vscode is written from scratch, in a different language than atom

>not using version control

what are you even doing senpai?

Atom.

well right now im just building stuff locally at work

why would i need git hub for what im doing?

you don't even seem to know the difference between git and github. how would you know whether you need it if you don't even know what it is?

i guess youre right, so why do i need them?

Visual Studio Code is better and it's free.

Fug I should've gotten on board with the NSA unlimited licenses :c

By now you should have learned you can use git locally as well.

I use it for all my work, even non-programming related stuff like presentations and spreadsheets.
It's just a good idea to save a history of your work.

I always cringe when people have "important_workbook_version_4.xlsx"

because as shitty as emacs itself may be, my emacs setup is very comfy

Emacs Exist

Exactly. Intellisense, emmet, integrated terminal right out of the box.

Thanks CIA for the license!

Maybe I'm autistic, but I use four text editors simultaneously to separate my tasks.

> Brackets - Web Design mockup/brainstorming
> Notepad++ - note taking
> vim - shell scripting
> Atom - all other scripting

anyone want to post their key? the new update (past r3132) breaks the key I had before.
