Well intel core m3, 4GB of ram and 128GB SSD is pretty barebones and with that kind of price it's unacceptable in my opinion. But why do you want Surface Pro 4 to begin with?

i was thinking of getting a x270 but it actually costs a little more if i get it with a 128 ssd.

i was extremely impressed with the screen and how well the pen worked, i thought it would be gimmicky but it's great. a front facing camera is nice for me, because i have to take pictures of rocks a lot and put them in lab reports and make sketches. feels nice to hold. i don't really need impressive specs desu. i just like how it feels.

If you go THIS easy on it, it should be fine but as another user noted, more RAM becomes more and more common and most devs won't give a shit to optimise their software. Even most phones are at 4GB now and run a much lighter OS.

With 7 Browser Tabs in Firefox and nothing else, windows 10 consumes for me 4,9GB, so maybe, even though the tablet OEM version is slimmed down, you are gonna run into some issues.

Also, the surface pen is awkward to use in place of a mouse.
