Damn!!! Can't wait to show off my PCMark 10 scores to all my friends! The 350W power consumption and 100 degree temperatures have finally paid off!

Another day, another cherrypicked benchmark from a freshly released review .. I don't know why you even bother anymore. youtube.com/watch?v=OfLaknTneqw

Shitjeet, I

Watch any review, the i9 does better in literally any benchmark

Yes, I actually did just watch the entire fucking review, where he carefully explains the reason the i9's have an advantage is Intel bumped up the clockspeeds, destroying any semibalance of normal temperature and power draw.

What are you trying to prove? That Intel is absolutely about to get BTFO by Epyc? Fine.

Didn't your dumbass get banned yesterday for trying this exact same bullshit? Cherrypicked benchmarks with misinformation followed by POO POO PAJEET spam.

>paid benchmarking software

Jesus, what a fucking joke this these things are. Intel reclaim their crown as kangz of housefires.

Epoo competes with Xeon you street stainer. i9 competes against pooripper

Not anymore since 500watt vega exists

>Source: My ass

>400W power draw overclocked
>95ÂșC
Intel Core i9 FX 7900X.

GPU power draw is not comparable to CPU power draw, I don't know why anyone keeps trying to make this comparison when they're obviously not on the same level at all.

Didn't that fag say at the conclusion that buying Skylake-X is pointless because TR is coming out?

I knew indians were retarded but not on this level

yes.

He basically says "Wait for Threadripper", yeah. Which is smart considering how expensive X299 is. It's like an investment.

youtu.be/OfLaknTneqw?t=1277

Roughly.
In any case, buy what you think is worth, don't listen to fucking others on what to buy

That's like waiting for vega which is a underperforming nuclear power hungry piece of poo

If you check closely, you will notice, that R7 1800X (500$) costs half of i9 7900X got 75% of one score and almost 100% of second.
i7 6950X (1607$) is even worse in comparison to 1800X, because holy fuck this shit costs an arm and a leg. I don't expect any Intel CPU to be better in bang for buck than AMD.
And also, y'know, Threadripper is coming.

Seething.

ONE
NOTHING WRONG WITH ME
TWO
NOTHING WRONG WITH ME

So what's its performance you dumb shitface? You're acting like overclocked 1080ti isn't a housefire.

>avarage
400W at peak.

>comparing overclocked power consumption to stock one

Kys my poo

You didn't answer the question you filthy kike.
I was even nice to not include peak figures.

Lmaoing at fury x housefire which is on par with a 1060

Goalpost ended up a good 20 meters off I'd say.

What's Vega's performance?

It's poo. Gtx 1080 at most whilst needing a nuclear power plant to power

And your source for this is?

He says "That depends on the level of performance... :-)" after that you stupid cuck.

Go away 14xxxx.jpg

20% faster for 20% more power is fine, 20% faster for 80% more power is fucking not(Skylake-X)

His ass.

Go away 14xxxx.jpg

>tries to derail thread to Vega once his CPU shitposting is found out
Very cute, but also retarded.
Retarded things are cute.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_time

Although it seems pointless to link this since I've seen others try and you are dumber than a sack of dogshit that's been run over by a car several times.

>performance increases should scale linear with power consumption

They never do

I can deal with the power(during winter), but I can't deal with retarded temps and needing a fucking water cooler
Fuck water

IMG_xxxx : Clown of Sup Forums or clown of all time?

Intel the house fire meme won't go away. It's too late. You deserve what's coming. Assume the position.

>they never do*

For the same architectures using the same process
Very fucking different.
Also I'm not talking about OCd stuff, but stock which still has some kind of semblance of perf/watt

Higher power consumption, much higher performance. I don't see a problem

...

Again, performance never scales linear with power consumption within a single chip

>Shitjeet
>street stainer
>indians
>poo

lol.

>clown of all time
That would be InElite.

>internet of the toilet

I explicitly said it does not in my post you blind shit.
Don't try to school me on this subject when you're fucking clueless.

...

Serious question, do you think this guy has some kind of actual disease or something? It's honestly quite unreal how out of touch he is, seems like context is a foreign word to him, is he still living in a vacuum?

He's going into overdrive, his masters are very worried.
For good reason, the dip during the reveal wasn't enough apparently

LOL INTEL BTFO

The question then becomes if the increase in performance is worth the increase of price and power .. in this case, it's not looking too good.

These comparisons against mainstream Ryzen CPUs are pretty ridiculous to begin with. It shouldn't even be close. I'm going to stand by the advice of Mr. Hardware Unboxed. Wait for Threadripper.

Lmao, AMD sent Intel into a 8 month low in 2 days.

The presentation was literally anudda shoah will all the OEM parade and two hyperscalers starting rollout in 2H2017.

...

Yea I saw that. Shit gonna get gud.

Who the FU** cares about power consumption you fucking dumb shill?

Ask again when your motherboard (or house) catches fire from insane temps because of insane power consumption.

...

I like that immediately when your side's processors draw exorbitant amounts of power you take up the mantra of "who cares about power consumption" and "what are you too poor to afford electrons".

For professionals who are going to be running the things under heavy load for extended periods of time, making sure the damn thing can stay cool and not obliterate their power bill is kind of important. Of course, performance is also important but you act like it's the only consideration.

Also
>Censoring yourself
lmao kill yourself turbofaggot.

>Reaches 100C OCd at 4.6Ghz with a $200 water cooler

DELET... PLS... I BEG OF YOU...

>**
Get back to gaia you underage shitstain

I just love the fact that my bought-for-gaming 7700K performs nearly the same as the 1800X in these professional applications, with half the cores, being $150 cheaper and consuming much less power.
Hell, in photo editing it outperforms all the Skylake X CPU's with the exception of the 7900X.
And if you're willing to delid that shit and overclock you can get even better performance. Meanwhile Ryzen struggles to do 4.2Ghz.

>tower becomes a blast furnace
>who cares
retarded kike shill spotted.

>7700K performs nearly the same as the 1800X in these professional applications
Great shitpost.

>destroying any semibalance of normal temperature
They destroyed that by not soldering the IHS to the CPU, you'd be able to cool it well despite the power consumption if Intel hadn't used their typical grey jizz as thermal paste and just fucking soldered their fat monstrosity CPUs.

Your 7700k isn't even in the same league.

>Great shitpost
Great counterargument

Why the 1500X doing so poorly against a 1600X? 2 cores can't really make up for 60% performance difference.

CCX latency.

Intel. Moar like toilet of the internet.

updated for CURRENT YEAR

It's a linear load, CCX latency is irrelevant since there's barely any inter-thread communication

There's always oddball results, there are a few benchmarks on different processors that are actually slower overclocked even if they're not thermally limited.
There are also benchmarks where Broadwell-E is slower than Bulldozer, can't really explain why that happens.

No-one is buying a 7700K or 1800X for content creation, the best perf/dollar option is a 1700 or 1700X. The 1800X really has no reason to exist other than to be a "bigger number" magnet.

the 1800x the guarantee of 4ghz, for the people not willing to bet on the silicon lottery

Actually they guarantee 4.1

But I won't pay $200 more for a 50/50 chance of 100-200MHz extra

Some of the Ryzen chips really make no sense. What's even the point of the 1600X?

for people not willing to overclock

You do know a lot of people don't overclock.
Actually over 90% don't

Oh my!

Lol. Intels marketing is getting fired up. Are you ready for the invasion of the inmortals?

>6 core 7800x using almost as much power as the 10 core 6950x
hmm....

oh...

It's reading the voltage wrong. He says it's at 1.2v

youtube.com/watch?v=OfLaknTneqw
>402 watts under load
>Temps immediately rise to 90C under load with corsair h100i v2 liquid cooler

That's okay I can always use a compressor.

...

The joke is, he didn't include R7 1700 and R5 1600 in there.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. I demand a recount.

I bought one because I didn't want to oc anymore.
Because it killed my i7 3770k.
1600 clocks were just shit.
It's way better value, though, with a good cooler included.
