Does the 2700k not bottleneck the 1080

These threads are pointless as everyone is anonymous. There's no rational reasoning behind these threads.

I only have 60Hz displays, so that's all I care about reaching, and an overclocked 2600K is still more than enough to drive that. A 1080 might be considered overkill for 1080p/60Hz, but I got it cheap and there are plenty of games that max out even an overclocked 1080 at 1080p once you crank advanced graphical settings and anti-aliasing.

I don't get why speccy doesn't list the processor model for the 7700k. It does it for other processors.

The updates for speccy are dragging indeed. Still lists nvidia cards above 3gb vram wrong alot of times!

Got the 1080 last week. I only really wanted a 1070, but I figured I was lucky just to find a 1080 in stock at a normal price, so I grabbed it on the spot.

Good job finding one at normal price. I hate crypto miners.

It's pretty insane how badly they've fucked the card market. I wish I'd taken a picture of the vidcard section at Fry's when I was there yesterday, the whole thing was empty except for a few 1050s.
