Mormons are great people, hating on them is fedora tier. I dated a Mormon girl in secondary school, she had long hair and always wore cute dresses. I was brought up in a religious Christian home as well so we didn't do anything sexual beyond holding hands and hugging. I moved away and we broke up, it's a shame because she was the sweetest girl I'd ever met. I came back to my hometown last year and ran into her, apparently she'd left the faith and had a child out of wedlock at age 18. She was being quite flirty with me, I would have gone for it had it not been for the child.
Mormons are discouraged to intermarry though as they believe marriage is eternal and only Mormons go to heaven to continue their marriage. I don't think we would have stayed together if I hadn't moved away.
It sort of weirded me out when I first met her I asked her if she wanted to go to Tim Horton', I could see her face flush and she seemed quite embarrassed to say that she can't have coffee or caffeinated drinks because of her religion (even being seen in a place like that would cause scandal).
