>Best viewed at 800x600 with IE 6.0 or Netscape 7.02 or Mozilla Firefox 1.0.6 or higher.
Comedy gold
They're kinda right about the resolution because with a 1920x1080 resolution the website is just occupying like 25% of the browser window
shes looking for web designers right now
britfags, this is your chance
Sup Forums.org

Wow that website do have proper mobile support lel
It's a good website.
home.mcom.com
right in the feels
More than old it's autistic, I think.
kek how has no one mentioned stallman.org
I actually met Bob Dole when I was a kid in the 90's
Did you shake his hand?
gnu.org is good tho
There's always that website about sewing machines that will gradually enlarge the text to ridiculous proportions as you scroll on anything other than IE.
oxidedev.eu.ai
LE DRIVER KRAB
any japanese website
Medabots.com
This is how corporate support websites ought to look.
This website is so fucking comfy
Kys.
Sup Forums.org
news.ycombinator.com
This. I love how pretty every Jap website still uses straight up old HTML and web 1.0 formatting.
I wonder what its like to be 40 something with the mind of a 10 year old
I came across this one at work a couple weeks ago.
sdplastics.com
>These pages will look best if you come over to my office and look at them on my monitor.
Yes, and I accidentally spilled cake on his foot.
...
Fuck this is comfy. I sincerely hope they never change it.
All that matters is that the site convey the information that it needs to. Notice that there was no such thing as Angular.js or Anus.js or Rectum.js or whatever back then, just broken tag soup that did the job.
If they deleted the second from bottom line no-one would notice desu
Add any taiwanese or chinese website
>Top 95% site web
How can you invent the site web catagory, and still not be the #1 site web?
When did the web stop being about having fun? ;_;
maling list archives
why are they all shit
>view next message in thread
WHY NOT A THREADED VIEW
How come it takes so long to load?
>I love how pretty every Jap website still uses straight up old HTML and web 1.0 formatting.
What I love the most is that often they look extremely fucking creative despite all of that. I've seen some kick ass effects on some of them and they all used basic css2 at most (maybe even less).
only the best taiwan internet
their site has always been slow, at least they added some US and EU download mirrors a few years back (they are slow too, but better than their asian servers)
>Our modern computers
This website feels like it's satire, but I want to believe sdplastics is just that based.
I don't know; it's a shame we won't be ordering plastics from him though ;_;
>purchasing forms are not SSL protected
What a bunch of niggers.
Can't really beat this guys site.
I wish more websites were stuck in the 90s.
Every local municipal web site looks like it came from the '90s.
>heavensgate.com
>web sites that load fast
>web sites with no ads or tracking
>web sites that don't peg the cpu at 90% with javashit
Sounds like we need more 90's web sites.
>I AM LING YOU CAN TRUST ME
This guy seems pretty trustworthy to me.
It's not hard, all you need is basic html knowledge and a bunch of .jpg's, throw in the occasional animated gif to really class it up and look professional.
He used to have his own face as ASCII art in the site source, commented out, with a huge stamped text saying that he'll fuck you up if you try to hack him.
This is absolutely great.
I like his website design desu
solid, Chalen
I WANT TO MARRY YAJUN
agreed, something about the design makes it timeless
yeah they screwed up
always same card, if you stand house get bust, else you get bust.
I will unironically apply to this right now.
But Ling is actually a she.
not just that, its popup boxes let you win past 21
it's a woman
Those sites were personal.
A personal web page was a thing once, way before social media.
honestly i avoid any site/ buisiness that tries to be personal/ "human". Professionalism and cheaper prices are all that should matter, and being personable comes across as cocky to me
We have to go back
Who the fuck not only pays to keep the Heavens Gate website going but also has administration access to it? I doubt this shit is running continuously on the same server host since 1996.
That is definitely not 90s web design. It's far more simplistic than usual but that style is absolutely modern.
>kernel.org
It's too new (in terms of aesthetics) to be 90s web design, you dumb frogposter.
Considering this even has a mobile version, this is some sort of eye grabbing post-ironic retro twist, not actually a relic of the 90s.
>Best viewed at 800x600 with IE 6.0 or Netscape 7.02 or Mozilla Firefox 1.0.6 or higher.
chuckle everytime
>pretty every Jap website
Wut? Jap internet is an absolute shitshow, they put flash content fucking everywhere
