Not a single video player has had a decent UI in the entire history of software.
Because it doesn't have to, and to complain about this, even if you are a hardcore ricer, is retardation at an unspeakable level.

In any case, everything anyone's ever needed is in mpv, if you can't into keyboard because you don't have hands and need to operate a mouse with your mouse, just use smplayer.
