No one can come even close to 5K iMac.
5k is a meme
Sup Forums say me pajeet hates apple, but OP is pajeet
>hi i'm sharish dekren
>i know that it works great with adobe creative cloud
>whenever you bring up adobe macfags always complain that it runs better on windows so its not fair
>iThrottle
The PC part picker build he made for Intel had a 1TB SSD and a 1TB HDD while the iMac build he made only had a 512GB SSD.
His point about the Dell monitor is bad as well, used prices on Amazon aren't really indicative of what you can get them for all the time, sometimes they're higher than New price, but looking right now on Amazon there is used from $1500

Only if you would have effectively earned $800 in that time otherwise could you say this.
If you're doing this as a freelance or youtuber perspective then you can just trade time where you wouldn't have been doing work for all of this.
>i cannot spare any time making a DIY build if it does not end up with a substantial savings down the line
>spends hours making this video
>8bit shit
>okay now lets make a ryzen build
>now start with the best
>you want to match clock speeds, you dont want to go below the clock speed, the core count is not that important to me as compared to the clock speed
This guy is a moron. You're using heavily threaded applications that benefit from higher core counts and then you demand the matching clock speeds.
>puts 64GB of RAM in the Ryzen build even though the iMac and Intel only had 16GB
>still doing the SSD/HDD combination even though he only picked SSD on the iMac and said he doesn't need anything else because he has plenty of other storage
This guy. He's a fucking idiot.
>Pajeets shilling macturd
Can't make this shit up
5k monitor is a meme, I edit professionally, and use just 4k. Davinci Resolve runs like ass on anything less than dual titans in greater than 4k.
>12:03
>It's got intel HD 630
>So it's got no GPU
Current state of pajeets
The trash can probably had better cooling that this piece of shit.
>8 bit panel
>you can just trade time where you wouldn't have been doing work for all of this.
Time is not a liquid asset. One cannot instantaneously trade their time for a paycheck without a greater time investment in finding a customer/employer who needs your services, who is willing to hire you over the competition, and who is willing to pay you at that particular rate. Even if you are already in such a job, you cannot necessarily decide on a whim that you will work 8 hours more this week for $800 more salary. Maybe your boss only needs you for a certain amount of hours each week, or wants to give those hours to another employee.
People who make time value of money arguments about how something is only cheaper because you're investing your free time into it, and how you'd be better off if you just worked that amount of time and paid someone else to do it, need to get some perspective. There is a reason why we have unemployment and underemployment problems.
4k is a meme
I have a 4k monitor right behind this macbook but I am using the macbook. 4k gives you clearer asian text that's about it.
>5k is a meme! 4k is a meme!
Jesus christ is this what you come up with in an argument?
>I can build THE SAME thing as you for much less!
>W-well except that but if I don't need it, why should you? Heh
That guy is just retarded, just like most apple users
If you're in a business situation then it is doubtful you would be comparing prebuilts to DIY unless you were a manager or something like LTT.
I am pretty sure this guy is talking about freelance or own business kind of work where you can decide to allocate some time where you wouldn't usually be working to be putting the computer together or installing software.
If you already have work to do then you would already have a system to use so it would be easy enough to spend a week to get the new system together, get everything on it and transition over without affecting the time you spend on work.
