That handy little chart of yours fails to mention whether or not those devices had security patches installed in even the last year. Most Android phone stock ROMs are bloated garbage that never gets updated. This is why Sup Forums recommends Lineage OS, dumbass.
Lots of nasty stuff is built into the system partition on iOS devices that allows the carrier and Apple to monitor certain things in the device whenever it's on. You can decrypt the IPSW files for iOS 8 and 9 and poke around the system files, though some of it can't be decryped on your computer due to the key being held in the SoC of the iPhone that the firmware is made for. iOS is not safe or secure.
