iPhone 7 was nearly a year ago now. Why should I be impressed? If this thing is faster, congrats but it just came out and it's competing against a nearly year old phone. It'll be faster for a few months then iPhone will be on top again as usual.

OP5 basically won this because UFS 2.1 upgrade, and being able to put apps into the ram. Even if Iphone does get a upgrade, it's not get any faster then a nvme right now. In addition the animation will still be as slow as ever.

I see people selling extremely lightly used or even fresh out if the box iPhones on local ads for 1/8 of their original price.judt today saw an ad for a used iPhone 6 for $150. How is that holding it's value? No phones hold value well after a year. And even in the year of release you, can't sell your iPhone(or any phone for that matter) for more than half of what you paid. Phones aren't good investments.

Where do you live? A base model refurbished iPhone 6 16GB sell here for over €450. A second hand iPhone 6 that has been visibly used costs more than €300. Keep in mind that the 6 is almost three years old. I don't know for how much other old flagship phones sell, but that's almost 50% of it's price when it was new. Pretty decent.
