LG G5 is ok, wasn't as good as the other 2016 flagships (S7 and HTC 10) but for the $250 it's selling now it's a great deal.
V20 is a good phone with plenty of nice features like the secondary display, dual cameras, quad DAC, removable battery, IR blaster... Battery life isn't the best but having a removable battery means you can use extended size batteries, there's 6400mah and even a 10,000mah battery available.

Get the G6. I have one. The large 18:9 display isn't chunky, and I can use it easily with one hand. I upgraded from a 4.5 display and I honestly can't look back now. The G6 is a solid phone, it's essentially like the S8, a near bezel fee display, but without the curved bezels that the Galaxy S8 has. Battery life on the G6 is decent, gets me through the day. It uses USB-C to charge so it only takes about an hour to fully charge.

I don't think it's that big of the deal, the cutout is in the space that would have been taken by the status bar (which is mostly empty space). It doesn't matter for full screen video because it'll be letterboxed anyway (16:9 content on 18:9 display)

Well for water resistance specifically, there's Samsung A3 / A5 2017. For a better camera there's the Honor 8. All these phones do have glasss back so durability won't be as good.
