Is Ubuntu Kylin the new official Linux desktop?

It's a Windows 7 clone with software to keep normies happy such as WPS Office and Foxit Reader. It's officially supported by Canonical.

No, KDE Neon is the official Linux desktop.

>Canonical botnet with Chinese sprinkle of top
Truly a product to replace Currysoft Windows.

Looks good but it's botnet.

Here's a YouTube video of it.

>proprietary office

so it achieved Windows XP 2003 levels of usability in 2017?

wow!

Surely this is an acceptable level of botnet compared to Windows. It looks more normie friendly than Linux Mint and Windows 7 users will need somewhere to go in a few years.

The only acceptable level of botnet is the lowest level available, which right now is none. You can get your hands on Librebooted hardware for cheap and install Debian with XFCE for zero botnet. If Ubuntu Kylin was the only alternative to Winshit, you'd be correct, but it's not.

It's for better doc and docx compatibility.

>two (2) clocks
Fucking abhorrent.

>he doesn't know how to disable this
I found the pic online. The UI looks much better than OP's chinkware. And actually looks like AERO.

From lawful perspective, hiw is Ubuntu Kylin any different than regular *ubuntu? I would imagine that there is some kind of law in China that obligates software vendors to install backdoors but I could be wrong.

>the developers don't know how retarded it is
This isn't about being able to enable/disabile the features. Aero looks like shit anyways.

What DE is that? Something original or based on what?

>AERO looks like shit
With that opinion why would you even want your OS to look like w7? AERO was the best UI Microsoft had. They really fucked up with w10.

>tfw "chalet" sounds like (and translates to) "szalet" which is basically a public toilet in polish.

No. TTY is official Linux desktop.
